Give us peace,
Find our hearts
Amongst the rubble,
Save us from the red and blue.
Another war
Between one nation,
Split in half.
Split between states,
Between counties,
And between households.
Save us from the red and blue.
Our hearts will fall or fly
On this day,
The day we vote against one another.
"My vote,
My voice,"
You claim,
But that's not true.
You only have a choice between
Two horrors
And your choice goes
Toward another person
Who can choose whoever they want.
It is not your voice,
It's theirs.
But it is your voice
That will be heard
When you say,
"Save us from the red and blue."
