Sometimes I am in
Disbelief at the
Huge egos of
People who
Aren't as important
As they think.
Remind me again
Why you are better than me?
Your skin color?
Your religion?
Your sexuality?
I say that all of those are invalid
Because when everything
Breaks down,
We are all the same--
Just humans,
Nothing extraordinary,
Trying to make it through
Our lives.
