Val's POV

When her dad walked in, he looked at Jace and they stared intensely at each other.

“Okay girls. I guess we owe you two an explanation.” Katy said and both Kimmy and Val nodded, “Omar, take Kimar upstairs to play.” she said and he got up and took Kimar upstairs.

Not a second later Jace got up and grabbed his snapback off the table.

“Jace, you can stay.”

“I'd love too, but I need to talk to my dad.” he replied before both of them left.

Omar came back downstairs and sat next to Katy.

“Okay. So how should we explain this?” Katy wondered out loud.

“Alternate?” Omar suggested.

“Okay, you start.”

“Alright, so this all started when Lucifer got casted out of heaven and-”

“We know that Mom. We learnt that in Sunday School.” Kimmy said butting in.

“We know that hun, but after he was sent out, with his other dark angels, they started multiplying and as the generations went on.”

“So, one day I met your mother, and one look at me, she knew I was not human but she loved me anyway.” Omar continued.

“On the night of our honeymoon, I asked him if he could turn me into a demon. He said he couldn't make me a full demon, but a half demon, so he did.” Katy proceeded in saying.

“And soon after, you and your brother we're born as full demons.”

“But Val, your family is much different. Your mother was neither human or demon. She was an angel.” Katy ended, saying.
