Kimmy's POV

“Thanks for dropping me to school early Jace.” she said getting out the car, in the parking lot.

“Are you sure you don't want me to stick around?”

“Nope.” she said closing the door and walking off while he drove away. She walked out of the parking lot and into the school, where she ran into Nikky, Selena and some guys.

“Hey Nik and Sel.”

“Kimmy! Where's Val?” Nikky shouted, and asked.

“Oh, well she's home, sick.”

“Oh okay. Well do you wanna come over to Jax's house? We'll be hanging out there since there's no school today.” Selena suggested.

“Jax?” she asked and he stepped forward.

“I'm Jax, that's Ralph and Drake my friends and I'm Nikky's boyfriend and Drake is Selena's.” he says swiftly.

“And you're beautiful.” Ralph said pushing Jax aside and taking Kimmy's hand in his and kissing it.

“Um... Thanks.” she replied blushing and they stood there gazing into each other eyes, leaning against the lockers.

“Awe....” Selena awed.

“Sorry to break this up, but are you gonna come and hang out with us?” Nikky asked, impatient.

“I'll be there.” Ralph said winking at Kimmy, causing her to giggle.

“Sure I'll come. I just have to text my mom and tell her.” she said while sending a text to her mom, explaining that there was no school and she was going over to a friend's house for the day and he mom replied with an 'okay' but she had to be home before 7 for dinner.

“Ready?” Ralph asked stretching his hand out to her.

“Yep. Just have to be home before 7 for dinner.”

“Alright then. Let's go!” Selena shouted excited.

*At Jax's house*

Kimmy and Ralph have been outside talking, getting to know each other, Jax and Nikky have been upstairs, while Selena and Drake were downstairs watching TV.

Nikky's POV

“You do know what Kimmy is right?” he asked closing the door of the room and sitting next to Nikky on the rug.

She looked up from her phone and her eyes widened in realization.

“She's a demon?”

“Yep.”

“Wow... I thought she would've told me seeing that we're very close friends but I guess the world's full of lies and deceit.”

“Where is this coming from?” Jax asked, pretaining to the last part.

“What?”

“This 'the world is full of lies and deceit'.” he asked using air quotes.

“Nothing. Nevermind.” she replied sighing, locking her phone and putting it in her pocket then getting up.

“Where are you going?” he asked getting up also and watching her walk to the door.

“For a walk.” she replied closing the door and walking out the house.

Kimmy's POV

“So... Kimmy, I was wondering -” Ralph started saying but got cut off by Kimmy's phone ringing. She pulled it out of her back pocket and immediately answered it.

“Mom, what is it?” she asked.

“Something's wrong. Please come home.” Katy replied frantically.

“Okay. I'll be there soon.” she replied before hanging up.

“Is everything alright?” Ralph asked concerned.

“I don't know. Could you drop me home?” she replied slightly annoyed.

“Sure. Grab your things and let's go.”

Ralph's POV *in the car, on their way to Kimmy's house*

She put in the directions to her house in the GPS, and the car ride was mostly silent until Ralph decided to break it.

“So, Kimmy, as I was gonna ask you back at the house... Um, would you -” he started saying as he pulled up in front of her house and she unbuckled her seat belt.

“Go out on a date with you?” she asked turning to face him.

“Yeah.” he nodded, slightly chuckling.

“Okay. I'll see you Friday at eight?”

“Okay. Bye Kim.”

“Bye Ralph.” she said before closing the door and walking inside and he drove off smiling which soon turned into a sinister smirk.
