She was still wondering what he was going to say.
What did he want to explain?
She looked up at the ceiling,
cursing herself for being stuck here.
She could still remember the day perfectly.
How her mother had asked her to go and get groceries for them.
When she was walking back,
The frigid air whipping at the exposed skin on her face.
She had pulled the collar on her coat up to protect her face.
Not looking she had begun to cross the road.
She looked up seeing the headlights coming straightforward.
Frozen, she just stood there.
She could feel the immense pain that washed over her.
She remember falling,
looking up at the stars,
thinking it was going to be the last time she saw the stars.
She remembered the bright blue eyes,
staring back at her through the haze that clouded her vision.
She remembered hair,
tickling her face as the blue eyed creature leaned over her.
She remembered the license plate clearly,
286YOB.
She shakes her head,
now is not the time to think about the past.
She lies back down on the sheets,
she wonders if he will come tomorrow.
She has begun to remember her past,
that was a good thing she decided,
but deep down,
She wondered if it was a good thing,
that she was starting to remember,
but what if she wasn't ready to remember.
