crystals are a gem given to this world;

and i don't mean an actual gem,

the ones you polish and make perfect,

that you gaze in admiration for bright colors.

crystals are beautiful in their natural form.

just like people; people are beautiful,

without the expensive make-up and cologne

all pounded upon their bodies.

that is also the case with crystals.

crystals shine naturally, without help.

they do not need an expanse of products

to make them feel beautiful.

they get a little dirty sometimes,

they become dull and lose their luster,

so you wash them off and watch

as they regain their shine once more.

people fall down and injure themselves,

often times without cause or reason,

but once they rise back above the surface

they regain their shine once more.

and that is but a beautiful thing.

we are beautiful things.
