"What's wrong?" I asked, looking between them all.

Something was wrong, really, really wrong. I could see it in their expressions, it was obvious that I was meant to be out of it now or at least staring at them and wondering who on earth they were. Great, I couldn't even be brainwashed into forgetting people properly, this was really turning out to be a bad day.

I wasn't even paying attention to the conversation going on around me until I heard Jordan say something about seeing my past, "What do you mean see my past? What's going on!" I wasn't pleased in the least, they were supposed to just be wiping my memory not seeing my past or what ever other creepy vampire things they could do.

"Well, when I erase a memory I can see your past. But I couldn't see yours, it was dark and it wouldn't erase," I stared at him, was that the nice way of saying, 'hey, there's something wrong/evil about you!' I mean if anyone should have a dark past its him or Ryan, they're the vampires

"So what now?" I asked, stomping my foot and looking between them.

"Wow, calm it there, don't want you to break a nail," Ryan smiled at me and I made a face back, he was one person that I definitely wouldn't miss when all this was over, well I might miss the opertunity to kill him but nothing else.

"Ha ha ha... blood sucker," I said, struggling to think of suitably annoying insult.

"Okay, look here, you don't want anything to happen to your sweet-" Before I knew it, Ryan was practically on top of me. I was squeezed between him and the wall, what was with these vampires and not respecting people's personal space?

I was just about to try and shove Ryan backwards, not that I thought it would do much good, when another voice boomed behind him, making the colour drain from my face, "What do we have here, a snack perhaps?" Did anyone in this place find me unappetising?

I simply stared as Jordan and Rosalyn said, "Dad." This was their dad?

I just stared at him, mostly in horror and surprise until I released he was speaking to me, "Hello," I said, hoping that he hadn't asked me a question which required a more complicated answer than that.

The conversation continued around me, mostly about how on earth I had managed to get here, while I tried to sort of hide myself behind Ryan without any of them realising, turns out that he is actually good for something.

I froze when I heard the words 'Ella' and 'stay' come after each other in quick sucession, there was no way I was staying with vampires, Ryan would probably attempt to drink my blood within a day. "But, what about my friends, what about my family?" That was another thing, didn't they think it would be a little suspicious if I suddenly just disappeared.

"Aww... Ella we get to stay together for longer," Ryan smiled and hugged me suddenly, though squashed would probably be a far better describing word than hugged.

"Great," I muttered sarcastically, because what I really wanted to do was spend even more time with him! Not.

"Don't worry, Ella, I'll set you a room up and then I'll come and get you," Rosalyn smiled dragging Ryan off too and when I looked their dad was gone too leaving only me and Jordan.

"Why is your house so big?" I asked, randomly, trying not to create another awkward silence like earlier.

"Well, here Ella your looking at the vamperic Prince, and you just met the princess and the king," He said smiling at me.

"Your a prince?" I knew it was a stupid question but i had to ask just to make sure.

"Yes Ella, I am," He smiled again.
