I stood at the rooftop of the school's second building. I'm not even sure why I'm here nor why I wanted to come here. I looked around to see if he was really there. To my surprise, I saw a back view of a guy that seems to be viewing the school grounds. I slowly approached him, not sure what to do. He had a bit of a long brown hair that swayed by the wind. He does resemble the guy I encountered at the library. I stood by his right side & leaned my elbows onto the railing. I'm surprised that he hasn't noticed me yet. Or maybe my presence isn't that worth noticing at all... I tried to see what he was looking at. He only seemed to be viewing the school grounds. But his face looked serious. His eyes depicted sadness and his smile was nowhere in his face. It seems like he was deep in his thoughts. Now that I was able to see him closely, his face was indeed pale but it seemed to only compliment his handsomeness. Yes, he was indeed handsome. And I didn't even realize that I was staring at him when my phone suddenly rang.

"YOU!" – We both spoke in unison while pointing to each other.

Of course we were both startled by the phone ring. And to think that my ringtone is sooo girly. Geez that was quite embarrassing... Anyway, my phone continued to rang & we were still pointing at each other, standing awkwardly and not sure what to do.

"Uhmm...I think you should answer you're phone first"

I stiffened with his sudden words. His voice was deep, but his words were softly spoken. My brain seemed to function slowly as I stood a couple more seconds before I actually grabbed my phone.

"Uhmm...yeah. Excuse me for a sec"

I turned around to answer the call which was actually from my sister.

"Gracie, honey are you okay? Mr. David told me you weren't feeling well during his class..."

I can immediately tell how worried she was just by the sound of her voice.

"I'm okay sis, I just needed some fresh air."

"Where are you? Would you like me to take you home-"

"N-no thanks...I'm okay now. I just needed some air that's all" – I immediately cut her off. I know she's worried but lately she had lots of things to do in her work. She's already stressed out & I don't want to put more burden on her shoulders.

"Are you sure sweetie?"

"Yes sis. I'm fine. I'm here at the rooftop, just getting some air. I'll go to your office later"

"Okay sweetie, just call me if you need anything okay?"

"I'm fine sis, really."

"Okay, I'll call you later. Bye Grace"

"Bye sis"

I ended the call & put my phone back inside my pocket. I took a deep breath before facing him again. Honestly, I have no idea why I'm acting like this but.... I do have some things I would like to ask him personally.

I turned around to face him again & to my surprise he was still standing there in the exact same spot, staring at me. It's as if he was definitely waiting for my phone call to end. I'm quite surprised that he didn't run off like what he did back at the library.

"I'm sorry"

I was shocked by his sudden words. He seemed sincere with his words and he was looking at me straight in the eye. I still couldn't help but stare at him awkwardly. I sure hope he doesn't notice...

"Sorry about what?" – I reply to him in a cool tone. I wouldn't wanna sound like a chicken while talking to him. But I didn't want to sound too cold either.
