Oliver quickly stuffed weapons into pockets and waist belts and I did the same pushing a knife into my boot and a pistol into each pocket I held some throwing knives and we slowly walked back upstairs. I don't know what help I will actually be if I have never been in a fight myself. I used my hearing trying to listen for them but it was silent.

The burning was faint but it was still there and I knew we weren't safe I reached the top and a young girl stood there she was wearing a small red coat with a dress covered in flowers her hair was in small pig tails and her blond curls bounced around her face she was small and no doubt she was sweet, my heart felt as if was going to break as it sank in that she was a demon and I couldn't help her...

she turned and faced me her eyes rolled back and were left pure white, I felt a pit in my stomach as I stood in shock. I heard bullets fly past me and the girl's body drop to the floor lifeless. The burning in my stomach quickly cooled, I looked at Oliver and felt my eyes start to water so I quickly blinked. "I'm going to check on the others" Oliver said breaking the silence I nodded and followed behind him.

I knew she, or it, would have killed me and I hate that I'm so weak and pathetic that I couldn't even fight her off why was I so pathetic.... The rest of the children were silent in the room at which they had been so happy and loud in.

Oliver open the door and they almost jumped out of their skins. I caught eye contact with a few and almost felt ashamed that they had bowed to me when I was so worthless. "It's fine its gone but I advise you sleep together and with a weapon tonight" he said calmly as if it was normal that they had access to guns and knives.

"are you not staying?" A girl said from the back of the room he shook his head and looked at me "I have business to attend to" I felt my face heat up and I stood awkwardly in silence he shut the door again and we walked down stairs again "what business?" I asked straight away.

"Back at it again with the questions" he said teasingly "I need to take you to the shadows temple; the watchers live there and they can train you they are the only ones who can" he said almost disappointed I nodded "how long will it take to get there?" I asked he shrugged his shoulders "not long" he said and he began to walk again I followed him yet again as he walked towards henrys office "see each school has a door which can access the shadow temple it's how we move around easily" he smiled and opened the door which showed an empty office. We walked to the back of the room and Oliver pushed a small button and a door opened however it wasn't a small room it was a bright light and I couldn't see much else but swirls and mesmerizing patterns "go inside" he mumbled pushing me in slightly I quickly stepped inside trying to not to think about it and suddenly I was falling, hard, towards a stone floor it got closer and closer until I was an inch away where I stopped and hovered for a bit then fell flat on my face.

I breathed out exasperated and pushed myself up and brushing myself off the floor with a slight groan. Soon I felt a gust of wind and Oliver was stood next to me I rolled my eyes at him as he looked smug knowing I didn't land on my feet.

I looked around the room, it was much like the school stone everywhere and candles lighting the way.

Oliver walked forward showing the way and we reached what looked like a grand hall there was a red carpet along the floor, how cliché. There were three what looked like thrones standing tall at the top of a small set of stairs Oliver walked to the top and kneeled so I followed as the lights flickered around us I heard footsteps in front of us. I was too scared to look up so I stayed looking down until I felt a hand on my shoulder I looked up and was met by a man with warm brown eyes and deep brown hair he smiled at me he was wearing a black cloak around himself as was the man behind him. I stood up and they both smiled at me they both looked as if they were in their late thirties "my sister welcome we have long awaited your arrival" he said smiling with eyes that seemed to old for him. Holding his hand out as I placed my hand with the pentagram on in his hand. "You do remind me of your farther" he said calmly I stopped dead in my tracks.

What? My farther? I turned to Oliver and he gave me a 'I had no clue' look I turned back to the man in front of me "my names Stephan, and this is Christopher, we much like you are watchers" he said holding out his hand "what do you need my girl" he spoke kindly and I felt safe "I want to be strong and I want to fight" I said proudly he smiled and nodded "we can teach you everything you need to know, however your friend here cannot stay while you train." He said gesturing towards Oliver he nodded "I know sir" he said keeping his head bowed as he stood up "I just needed to make sure she got here safe" he said sounding concerned for me "you may say your good byes now you cannot see him until you have finished we will give you a moment" Stephan said walking away for a moment I looked up at Oliver and scanned his face for emotion. "So, who am I?" I ask trying to find answers from him. "You're the daughter of Lucifer" he said slowly "what? The devil" I said shocked he nodded slowly "he was the strongest watcher he held the strength of every demon... until hive gave up hell for a woman, a black angel a keeper of the underworld" he said slowly I inhaled a sharp breath and tried to take in his words...

I don't have time to worry about this...

I don't care if I only just met him he was basically my only friend I didn't want to leave him I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck as I stood on my top toes he slid his hands around my waist and pulled me closer. I pulled away and looked up at him and gave him a reassuring smile and turned and started to walk off.

His hand wrapped around mine and pulled me back our lips met softly and I closed my eyes meting in to him.

I pulled away and looked at him smiling feeling a blush ruse to my cheeks "I guess this is good bye for a while Oliver" I said looking down he smiled "as soon as your finished I'll be here scar" he said as he turned and walked off. Did he just call me scar? Right.

I looked towards the door that the watchers walked through and they came back out smiling at me. "Here this is what you will wear for training in" Christopher said passing me a black fabric I nodded taking it and looking at my hand "so what does this mean?" I asked looking back up to them.

"your farther was a watcher so you gained his genes and when he died his power went to you, but your father wasn't just a watcher he was the son of lucifer, he was so powerful but even the devil has demons he cannot out run. Your mother was a black angel she had the power to pass into hell and not be noticed or damaged by the harsh surroundings. " he said as if this was all normal information to give someone I simply nodded along for now.

"Now! there are five different things we can master each represents a point on the star" he said pointing to each point of the star "emotions, weapons specialist, knowledge, strategy and demon control. Many people can master one or two maybe even three, but they have to be born with the power to master all of them." I nodded as he spoke trying to take this all in.

"so if I have mastered them why do I need to train?" I said nervously "because you need to learn how to control them like your emotions could cloud your judgement and that could result in your death. Your knowledge of something can make you over think everything and cause you to make a bad decision. And I think you get the idea" he smiled and I nodded "okay so what do I start with" I asked looking around he smiled and held out his hand and I place down mine in it "we need your knowledge to be sorted out so we will take you to the room of silence and I want you to think" he said I waited for him to tell me what to think about but he didn't there was just silence "think? About what?" I asked he laughed a little "everything I want you to think of everything you can until you mind becomes clear" he said as if it was obvious

"how will I know when it's clear?" I asked yet again another question... "it's like a switch once you've done it everything becomes simple and clear like there is a yes and no for everything" he said stopping at a door and opening it for me "please put the cloak on" I did as I was told and dropped the cloak over my shoulders. I considered the room the walls where blank the floor was black there was no windows and it was slightly lit by a couple of candles that surrounded the room I stepped inside and the door was shut behind me instantly. It was quiet scarily quiet.

Only a couple of days ago, I was normal with weirdly colored eyes and that was all that was odd about me. Now it seems I'm as different as you can possibly get. I let my mind wonder about the possibilities of how my future could be and how I could marry Oliver or die alone or fall for some else I could have, a child, a family, a home, a husband, a safe place to live and be happy.

Who am I kidding that's never going to happen I'm alone. And I always will be.
