My eyes where heavy and my sight grew dim I'm not sure if I'm dreaming, I hope I am because this can't be real. Suddenly, I heard a large bang in front of me and a body dropped lifeless to the cool floor with an arrow out of its back I looked up to see Oliver standing holding a gun no across bow? I couldn't quite make out what was in his hand, I tried my hardest to stay awake but I felt weak and powerless, overwhelmed by the events a cold chill blew over me and my eyes beat me and I drifted off in to silence...

Abruptly, I shot up with beads of sweat running down my face, my head hurts and I feel like the rooms spinning around me, I looked around was it a dream? No.

As I looked around I saw Oliver sitting across the room with a phone at his ear and a serious look over his face. he noticed me moving and he quickly said "she's up, I'll tell you more later, bye" and hung up the phone and shoved it into his back pocket then started walking over to me "how do you feel?" He asked looking me over with a concerned expression.

"Wh-who was that?" I asked stuttering. Well done you sound like an idiot! "You mean what was that!" He corrected me as he looked around the room "It was a demon they can take many shapes and forms but humans seemed to be one of the most common they go for, because humans are weak minded and can easily be manipulated and they blend in better" he stated as if was a normal thing, looking at my eyes and then making a glance at my stomach "the fact that you can see it shows you are a hunter as does this mark" he said pointing to the cross on my stomach "what do you mean I'm a hunter? And a demon! you're insane." I said confused. I'm not sure whether I'm confused by what he is saying or confused at what, or who I was.

"Haven't you ever done something that you can't quite explain without sounding crazy like lashing out at someone. Or having a sudden feeling that someone is watching you but no matter how hard you look you cannot find anyone or maybe a burning feeling right here" he state as he pointed to the mark on my stomach "you're not human, not completely any way we all have demon blood running through us but we also have angels blood" he said calmly "so what does that mean" I said with a deep breath as everything hit me how my emotions are kept on a tight leash, and suddenly I have an outburst, the burning sensation I feel and how inhuman I actually felt "it means nothing unless you can control it" he said with an annoyed tone.

"How did you know where I was? Or that it was here?" I asked sitting up and grabbing my head as a pounding feeling bounce around inside it. "I followed you back because, you seemed interesting see most hunters parents train them as they grow up so they can fight and kill demons at very young ages, the fact that you didn't know what I meant interested me I wasn't sure if you genuinely had no clue or you were trying to hide it from me but either way I had to ask you more and when a demon is near by hunters get a burning feeling on their mark the more intense the burn the more demons there are or sometimes it can burn more because the demon is stronger and as I came close I felt a burning feeling so here I am" he said running his hands awkwardly through his hair and looking away from me.

"But how did you know I was here? Like in this town?" I said slowly he smiled and shook his head at me "I didn't until I bumped into you, well actually you bumped into me." I nodded silently and I felt my face heat up with embarrassment.

"but even then, I didn't know you were a hunter, only when I saw your mark earlier I knew" he stated and stood up

"So where are your parents?" He asked calmly look around the room as if they should appear
I sat still and looked towards my hands "my parents are dead..." I said quietly glancing at his face I saw the smile drain from his face "how old were you?" He asked with no hesitations or a hint or sympathy in his voice "I was two so I don't really remember much about them or what they were" I said looking back at my hands which rested on my lap.
