I drove down the long road, it seemed to last forever and was slowly being engulfed by the nature around it, as trees and plants caused the road to become narrower. The trees toward over the road like bony hands trying to intertwine their branches.
It is the early hours in the morning. The time seems to be dragging, it feels as if every hour like a day and that day seems to last forever.
I felt a sudden jerk from the car and a chocking noise sounded from it. It slowed down without me letting it and soon I was pulled to a halt. No no no no no no no no. Fuck.
I hit the steering wheel with my hands in anger and let out an annoyed sigh. This can't be happening.
I looked around and nothing but fields trees surround me its dark and it seems to place a mysterious aura to everything. This is slightly aggravating...
I stepped out of the car and swirls of wind engulfed me as I walked to the front of the car smoke seemed to be pouring out of the bonnet I pulled up the hood and the smell of gas hit me causing me to cough and wave my hand trying to remove it from my sight.
I looked at the car trying to figure out what's wrong but, I have no clue what I'm looking for! It looks fine to me except for the smoke coming from it.
Ugh.
I ran my hands through my hair and let out an annoyed growl. I quickly looked through my bags in the car and found my phone. Who do I text?
I don't have friends. I don't have family. I left them all behind. I don't know any emergency numbers. This can't get any worse.
But of course, the universe likes to prove me wrong... a burning sensation danced through my stomach and chest. I quickly searched my weapons bag stuffing a knife, a gun or a magazine somewhere on me.
I looked down the road ahead of me and there stood a small figure. A child? They slowly danced toward me. I shook my head and pulled my gun out I simply aimed in on the head of the demon and pulled the trigger.
I would like to say I felt bad but in the end, it wasn't a child it's was merely a shell of what used to be a child. Demons don't just inhabit the body's they absorb their souls and feed on their happy memories until they become hollows.
They always become hollows.
The burning feeling sizzled out and I found myself once again alone. I can't stay here forever. So, I should try and find someone or something like a building.
I set off walking down the road leaving the car behind me. It's not like it had any sentimental value to it. I walked and walked and walked.
I miss him. How can I miss him I'm not supposed to be able to feel? This isn't fair. No I don't miss him he's nothing to me he was just a chess piece who got in the way caused you to lose sight of what I'm supposed to do.
The road came to an end, as if they gave up on it nothing but fields lay ahead of me maybe a small town or village was close. I kept walking into the fields which seemed to last forever.
I have a funny sense of Deja vu wash over me. Have I been here before? Why does everything seem so familiar to me. The cool air seemed to once again surround me and cause shivers to spiral down my back, the dark sky was filled with stars all fighting to be seen by a human eye.
Envious clouds slid across the sky preventing me from seeing the star's beauty. The grass under my feet was damp and cool making my whole body cold. I looked around and there seemed to be nothing, nothing but fields and the sky.
"I never saw true beauty until I met you" I head a male voice say. Oh no. I looked around and there seemed to be no one. My dream? No, it can't be real.
I'm not alone.
Suddenly I noticed a small black object moving next to me I turned quickly to see a dark blue raven standing next to me proud and elegant. My heart raced as everything fell into play.
What's happening?
The bird flew upwards and I looked up quickly and noticed a swarm of birds flying around in circles above me I thought they were peaceful but now they send nothing but panic into my heart.
Then there was silence. I feel weak and helpless as tears fell and crashed to the floor around me. The birds seemed frantic.
Suddenly the bird near me made a loud noise pulling me out of my thoughts. The bird seemed frantic and distressed.
I felt a pit in my stomach as I knew what it meant...
I looked around and suddenly and hooded figure was standing in front of me. I felt everything turn cold and mist started to form around my feet it swirled and intertwined with anything in its way.
The figure slowly turned to face me and I felt shiver sprint down my back, I have the feeling I'm in the presence of death, pure evil.
I couldn't make out their features as a hood seemed to cast a shadow over there face "hello kora." I heard a deep familiar voice say. This time for some reason the voice calmed me.
The voice didn't sound distorted but sounded as the man who spoke in my dream. "Who are you?" I shouted looking around me.
He suddenly started walking closer to me I felt like moving away from him but I couldn't. My feet felt as if they were planted to the floor and I was stuck.
Each step he took I felt more scared and helpless. Until he was almost Close enough for me to see his face. Just one more step and I would know who it was.
"This is it raven, hello and good bye" he said moving his foot to take one more step towards me the stars lit up his face and I knew who it was straight away.
But how he's supposed to be dead and he was supposed to be replaced how is he in front of me. This has to be fake.
"Farther?"
