Oliver's POV.
"What are you doing?" I asked as she stop and placed her hands on the knives in her pocket she turned to me with a look of confusion on her face. "can't you feel that? there's a demon." She said as if it was obvious.
I just feel her; her powers so strong I can't feel anything else.
"No I just feel your power." I said realizing I can't fight if I can't feel the demon. She pulled out her knives and looked around.
She placed her finger on her lips telling me to stay quiet. I know she's strong but I can't just stand here.
But how can I help if I can't feel it.
She stared into space I guess she's listening around us to try and find it, I know I can listen too I but I don't know the direction...
Her head quickly turns towards me looking behind me.
Before I even had a chance to turn around I saw to knives slice through the air and a loud roar escape its lips behind me.
As I turned to face it scarlet had already placed herself between me and the demon saw two blades rush through the air and the demon dropped to the floor.
However, one of the blades was going the other way I looked at scarlet as a sharp black knife was stuck in her she started to fall and without thinking I grabbed her in shock not knowing what to do.
This isn't real.
I pulled her close to me cradling her limp form in my arms. My everything. Wishing I could undo everything, I wish I didn't meet her, I wish I didn't fall for her and I wish I never let her get this way.
Her eyes shut slowly and my tears ran fast that my eyes started to burn, no this isn't the end for her. I quickly pulled the knife out of her and slid it into my pocket making sure the blade didn't touch me.
I looked back towards her, the blood drained from her face making her look like a ghost. I intertwined our fingers noticing that her nails had turned black.
I knew she wouldn't heal because it was a demonic blade.
"Scar don't leave me, no!" I said trying to keep her eyes open. She needs more than my help. As much as I don't want to admit it no one can survive a demonic blade.
I pulled her closer to me and picked her up and started running back. She looked cold and pale a mere shell of herself.
I got back to the dorms and it was starting to get dark around me I ran to my car, my legs burned from running it was painful but the pain was blurred out as I pushed her into the back of my car as carful and as quickly as I could.
I hopped into the front and started the engine and driving frantically back to our school.
I can't lose her too.
I made her this way. I didn't realize she would become so strong but so stupid. My emotions where everywhere I'm angry at her for stopping that blade it was meant for me not her. I'm angry that I couldn't see this coming I should have seen that blade I should have stopped her.
I could have stopped this. If I never told her what she was. She would be safe.
The roads seemed to go on forever no matter how fast I was going it seemed to take forever to get anywhere. I looked over at her pale body a shine of sweat on her brow. Her breathing was small weak and shallow. But she was breathing.
Soon the familiar gates came into view and I pulled into them as they opened slowly.
I sped up the drive parking practically in the front door I opened my door and ran to her she felt cold but I know she's not dead yet. She can't be. I pulled her into my arms and ran to the door pushing it open with my back.
I heard people around me, children and teenagers that went to the school here. I felt them stare at me in shock, it didn't faze me I still ran to Henrys office I don't care what it takes I need her to live.
I pushed the door open with my back and I heard Henry stand quickly "Oliver what's happened?" He asked confused as I slid her on to the sofa to the left of me "she was hit with a demonic blade and she needs help" I said stroking her face and looking towards him.
"Oliver, you know no one lives after they are cut by one" he said slowly I shook my head "No! She's different she's stronger please just try." I shouted anger taking over he looked at me and nodded.
He looked around in draws and got some herbs and other things which I had no clue what they were for, but he mixed them together until they made a green brown paste.
I looked towards scarlet and lifted her top just enough to show the deep cut in her stomach her blood stained her clothes and her pale skin seemed white against the crimson blood which covered her. Black lines spread from the cut in a spider web pattern.
He placed the herbs over the cut and cleaned the blood off her. He looked at her weirdly for a second and I felt a pit in my stomach "what? What is it?" I asked as I scanned his face for any emotion. His face was serious until a small smile lit it up. "She's fine..." he said slowly and I looked at him confused.
"She's the daughter of the dead watcher" he said and I felt confused "how would that change anything?" I asked and he turned to face me "he was the strongest watcher, he activated all of his demonic side to take the throne from his farther. But once he sat on the throne he fell in love with a black angel and they had a child, a young girl. However, their love was forbidden the devil didn't agree with it and they were killed before the girl reached the age of three she was given to a guardian to protect her from the devil he's been after her this entire time. The guardian helped her grow up but he was against her demonic side so she never had the ritual done and she was never trained. Until she met you" he said explaining everything I turned to her and she still looked beautiful.
"So, she is part demon?" I asked and he nodded "these blades will not kill her?" I said watching the cut slowly heal itself "they may take longer than normal blades to heal but they will never kill her" he said looking at her in amazement.
I turned to her and smiled, I knew she was different, special.
"Take her to her room so she can rest" I heard Henry say as he packed away his herbs. I nodded sliding my arms around her and picking her up.
I walked down the spiral stone stairs holding her in my arms. Her head laid against my chest as I walked towards her room. I reached a room which I thought had her name carved into the door however when I reached it, it no longer said 'scarlet' it had the word 'koraki' engraved in the wood. What?
I looked at the room and made sure I was in the correct place? I was. I shook it off and walked into the room placing scarlet on the bed and stroking her cheek. I walked out of the room and closed the door running my fingers over the name on her door. Koraki? Why is that on her door and not scarlet?
