Innocent, Insane and Sightless

Chapter 3

Peter, know known as Web Warrior, snatched the device off of the table, "You ready?" asked Deadpool. Web Warrior responded with a, "Yup!"

At the top of the tallest building, Web Warrior looked down at the streets below, "Everyone looks like ants!" he exclaimed, giggling.

Matt, now Dare Devil, rolled his eyes, "If I could get a penny for every time someone said that I'd be rich, Peter."

The youngest hero glanced at Matt, "Touché."

Deadpool, whom was examining a small gun, looked up, "I get that there are guard dogs, but do we have to be so up high?" he asked, raising a brow.

Cringing, Dare Devil responded, "I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to be dog chow."

"Ah, so your afraid of mutts?" Deadpool asked, a smile tugging his lips.

"Yes! Wait, NO! I'm not!" Matt shouted, and his face flushed in embarrassment.

Web Warrior sat at the edge of the tall tower as the two fought, his legs swinging of the end. He was fiddling with the device that got them in this situation. Curiously, the spider-themed hero cracked it open and peered inside the small crack. 

Wires filled the insides, sparking Peter's curiosity even more, "Ouch!" he whisper-yelled when he  accidentally ripped open a random wire and it shocked him.

Blue electricity seared through the device, and Peter could see it clearly, "What?" he whispered to himself.

"You okay, Pete?" 

Web Warrior turned around and met with Matt and Wade's worried faces, "Yes," Peter responded almost immediately, "I'm fine, but, could guys come here for a second?"

The two made their way towards the youngest boy and sat down next to him. Matt looked up at Peter with a "What Is It?" face.

Peter held up the device, "It's acting weird," he explained when he saw their confused faces.

Wade cocked his head, "Like, how weird?"

"It sparked blue electricity."

"Ah, that's how weird."

"Let me see," ordered Matt, stepping into the conversation.

Web Warrior handed the strange device over to Matt, and the older hero looked at it carefully.

"I don't see anything wrong with it--" Matt was cut off when he poked one of wires and it shocked him, just like Peter.

"..."

"The fudge?"

The blue electricity glazed over the device once again, but this time it overtook the whole thing, "Hey!" Matt yelped as he dropped it. The electricity's size increased, intimating the three greatly.

"Ah, shit."

The two electricity looked as if it swallowed the three, and shortly afterwards, disappearing, with the three nowhere in sight.
