Chapter 17

*Damon's P.O.V.*

"Hold on- Harry! Calm down!" My voice raised over his stressed tone.

"How the hell am I going to calm down?! Liam has been missing for 3 days and Louis is in the hospital!" I could hear his pacing footsteps on the other end of the line.

"Why are you calling me?" The question fell from my lips before I could stop it. Of coarse I knew wy he was calling. We had been the last people to see Liam.

*Flashback*

(3 day earlier)

Knock

    Kncock

        Knock

A groan fell from my lips at the pounding on my door. I slid out from under the warm covers, pressng pause on the movie as I slipped my shirt on and headed towards the door.

The creak of the old door was heard as it opened to reveal a stranger, a guy with light brown hair and brown eyes. He stood about my height.

Though I could hear the steady beating of his heart, indicating that he was human.

"Yeah?" I mumbled, grumpily.

"Are you Damon?" He asked, his heartbeat speeding up as he awaited an answer.

"Yeah?" I said again.

"I want you to change me into a vampire." He replied bluntly. I was taken back.

"What?"

"I want you to change me into a vampire." He repeated.

"Uh no."

"Please. I need you to do this." He begged, his eyes pleading. I gave him a quizacal look, pulling him inside and leading him the livingroom.

'Athena, Harry' I thought, sending the calling to them and hoping they could recognize the call.

"Why? Why do you want this?"  I questioned, disbelief showing in my tone as I poured myself a drink.

"Its-complicated." He replied, waving my drink offer off with a wave of his hand.

"Try me." I stalled, awaiting the arrival of A.J. and Harry

"Well, theres this girl-"

"Coarse theres a girl, theres always a girl" I cut in, rolling my eyes as a sigh passed through my lips. "So this girls a vamp now you need to be?

"Well-"

"Wait, how did you even find out about me?" I continued allowing him no time to answer.

"He found me out." Athena's voice caused my attention to gravitate towards the source, which was where she stood in the doorway.

Harry stood next to her, hands in his pockets. Eyes scanning Liam as he read his thoughts, I suspected.

"Look will one of you change me or not?" Liam burst, raising to his feet.

"No we won't turn you." Athena was in front of him in the blink of an eye. Liam's hand in hers.

"Why?" Liam's tone sounded defeated, his eyes darting to the floor and then back up to meet Athena's eyes.

"Because you don't want this.- No Liam, I'm serious you do not want this. I don't want this, nobody does. This..... sucks. It really does. I don't want you to have to live like Me and Harry and Damon do. Live a normal life Liam. Please." Athena's eyes were pleading. Her free hand reaching up to carress his face.

Liam stayed silent for a long while. His eyes never leaving Athena's, A wall of emotions being held behind his brown orbs.

Realization hit me as he spoke again. Agreeing to live a human life. I realized Athena was the girl he wanted to change for.

"Okay, good. Uh- you wanna come over? We could have fright night." She suggesed, half a smile appearing on her face.

"Sure. I'm just gonna stop by my place beforehand. I'll meet you there."  Liam replied. Returning the smile.   

"I'll drop you off." And with that all three were gone.

*End of Flashback*

"Look Harry, we've been searching nonstop since we noticed he was missing. Maybe he doesn't want to be found. Liam is a big boy, he can take careof himself. When he's ready to come back he will, and as for your friend Louis. It was a car accident. I really don't think anything 'evil-vampire' going on here." I sighed, free index finger rubbing circles int my temple.

"Well, we still haven't found the vampire who turned Gabby. Add it up Damon. Somebody is trying to mess with us. They're trying to fuck up our lives."

"You're being paranoid." I groaned.

"Is he Damon?" The voice sent chills down my spine as memories flashed behind my eyes.

I turned around to meet the dark eyes of my arch enemy.

Sorry I took so long with the update, I've gotten really into drawing latley, well since everyone in my family bought me art spplies for Christmas(: but anyway thanks for reading and the usual
