Unhappy Ever After

I waited for Zach by his car I knew I got there a little early so I just played on my phone for a bit till I felt a strong tap on my shoulder.
"Look here you little twat don't get too comfortable with Zach it won't be long till his crawling back to me when you don't give him what he wants." Clarissa said giving me an evil smile then walking away to her car where Brandon was. I thought she was happy with my brother and what could I not give to Zach?
I looked around confused when I saw Zach walking down the hill.
"Hey sorry it took long I had to do something real quick." Zach said smiling opening the door for me.
"It's fine I didn't mind the wait." I said still wondering about what just happened.
"You okay you look frazzled?" Zach said looking at me concerned.
"Oh uh yeah just thinking about some school work." I'm a terrible liar but he obviously bought it since he just started the car up and started to his house.
When we got to his house I was in awe I never knew Zach was rich. He had such a big house.
"So my parents aren't home so maybe you can stay a bit longer than we said." Zach said running his hand through his hair.
"Oh uh yeah maybe." I said trying not to show my nervousness.
We headed inside I tried calming myself down a bit because I didn't want to look sweaty in the pictures that show him asking me to prom.
He lead me up a the stairs to what seemed liked a never ending hallway we finally made it to what seemed like his room hmm not as formal as I thought but oh well. Yay prom!
"I hope your okay with this." Zach said getting closer than usual to me. I stayed silent not sure what to say. Zach leaned closer to me and kissed me as he slid my flannel down revealing my bare shoulders as he began to start lifting my tank top I  pushed him away.
"What are you doing?" I said so confused were is the roses and poster asking me to prom?
"I thought this is what you wanted?" Zach said sounding a little angry.
"No I thought you were going to ask me to prom." I said grabbing my flannel and putting it back on.
"How about we go to prom and still try and finish this up?" Zach said trying to slide my tank top off again.
"Why are you doing this?I thought  you were different?" I said pushing him away once more.
"Why are you doing this, Clarissa told me that you were to afraid to ask if you wanted to you know what with me." Zach said actually serious.
"What! No why would I tell Clarissa that? Actually why were you talking with Clarissa?" I said more angrily than I have ever sounded before.
"Oh... its not important she just came to my house to talk and stuff."Zach said trying to hide something.
"Stuff? What stuff?" I said not even waiting for an answer I just walked out the door trying to find my way out of his house but he followed grabbing my arm.
"It's was a mistake." Zach said. I pulled my arm away and started walking again turning back around to him with tears in my eyes.
"You were flirting with me you made it seem like you liked me, there you got a good laugh you fooled me now just let me be I don't need this." I said walking away finding my way out of his house.
I walked a little bit till I finally called Derek to pick me up it wasn't shortly till he came.
"Hey what happened?" Derek said to me when I got in the car," Oh my are you okay you look like a mess?" He said looking at me concerned.
I looked at myself I looked terrible I then spoke to him and explained everything even the Clarissa and how she might be using Brandon part.
"I know a place that will cheer you up." Derek said making a sharp u turn  to the top of Crescent Creek hill.
I smiled at Derek trying to let go of everything that just happened.
When we finally made to the top we sat on the top of his car and just laying there talking.
"This year has been new. I'm normally just goody two shoes Jade and when I try becoming known I get screwed over in the end." I said staring at the sunset going down
"Well at least you got one thing good out of it." Derek said lighting his cigarette.
"Oh yeah what's that." I said rolling my eyes at Derek and his drug problems.
"Well for starters you learned some good lessons like never try and be friends with the popular kids and you got to become friends with me." Derek said looking over at me smiling.
"Hmm what would my life be like without Derek?" I said laughing.
"You wouldn't have a life." He said pushing me.
"No actually I wouldn't have a stain on my carpet, no dent in my bed, and I would still have pudding in my fridge." I said rubbing my arm where Derek had pushed me, "and you know now I wouldn't have a bruise." I said looking at my arm for a bruise.
"I'll show you a bruise." Derek said pushing me so hard I flew off the top of his car,"Oh god you really flew!" Derek's said laughing peering over the edge of the car looking at me.
I shook all the rocks off my that stuck to my hands and newly ripped jeans that now exposed my knees,"Why would you do that?" I said laughing hard trying not to cry it hurt so bad and I'm not just talking about my new cuts just my life in general.
"I didn't know you'd fly." Derek said laughing harder.
As I brought myself up on my feet I heard my phone ringing I answered it to my mom crying.
"Mom hello what's wrong why are you crying?" I asked concerned.
"Honey it's not good it's Jeremy." My mom said muffled over the phone.
"Mom what happened." I said more scared in my entire life.
"Just meet us at the hospital." She hung up.
"Derek we need to go to the hospital  quick!" I said as we both jumped in the car.
