The party ended when I was asleep my parents are still gone they will be back tomorrow so I wonder what Brandon has pulled up his sleeve. I walked downstairs dressed nicely in black leggings long tan boots and a floral shirt see through on the back.
"Who you lookin nice for?" Derek said scaring the living poop out of me.
"Ahh," I screamed ,"why are you still here?"
"I got super drunk so your brother made me stay." Derek said drinking the milk from the carton.
"Really come on Derek you know people drink from that like a normal person and don't want your germs in it." I said giving him a cup.
We arrived at school thankfully alive because Brandon thought it would be fun to let Derek drive ya no it wasn't. I walked into science and there he was Zach sitting there he saw me and waved for me to come down and sit.
"Hey I was wondering if you wanted to do prom committee with me?" Zach said looking me in the eyes god why does he have to do that to me.
"Umm yeah sure I would love to." I stuttered out and gave him a smile it's the only feature on my face I have working for me.
"Awesome its gonna be so much better with you there." Zach said looking in my eyes still. Were we flirting it felt like flirting how do I say thanks flirtatiously?
"Thanks." I said giving him a flirty wink. Did I just wink oh god jade never wink you look like a cow with something in its eye. Zach just chuckled.
Class was over and it was time for lunch I needed to talk with jeremy and of course he's with Brooke yay.
"Hey Brooke hey Jeremy." I said sitting down at the lunch table.
"Hay? I don't eat hay horses eat hay." Brooke said looking confused then she pulled out her hands and made them say nay nay. I looked at her confused.
"No hun she ment hello." Jeremy said patting Brooke on the back.
"Nice actually I think I'm gonna go." I said waving goodbye
I felt a pull on my elbow I looked back and saw Zach.
"Hey did you want to start walking to the gym with me to be ready to start prom committee?" Zach said pulling me on my way. I saw Brandon there with Clarissa awesome, night of the living whore is back and Derek who seemed to be poking holes in the balloons.
"Prom is in three days people we have to get this gym perfect the board made the decision to have a night under the stars theme so let's get to it!" The prom committee adviser said loudly.
Brandon came over to me and pulled me aside,"hey has Zach asked you to prom?"
"No why?"
"Oh just wondering anyways Clarissa is coming over to dinner tonight so I can ask her can you please be on your best behavior?" He said looking me dead in the eye is he kidding me oh god I'm not having this.
"Sure I don't care." I couldn't do It couldn't fight for what I believed to be right god I'm an idiot. The day got longer with only more regret.
