My Friends Know Me Best

Chapter:15

I got up earlier and earlier every morning. Kade was the same way. Today is the Fourth of July we've been working on the house for an entire month and we just finished up with an electrician and plumber yesterday along with the Ac and heating.

As a workout the guys baseball coach asked if the whole team could help make the house structurally sound. That was done within a week or two. The whole house was open floored after taking a few walls down that weren't low bearing.

Today we're putting drywall up and laying hardwood floors down if we get to it. Kade and I loaded a four wheeler up in the back of his truck and drove to the house.

The team was going to be there around eight and it's almost six. We got to the edge of the clearing and unload the four wheeler and loaded the trailer we hid.

I got on behind Kade and sat as close as I could to him. Once we got to the house we unlocked the door and turned on the lights the whole living room lit up. We went along the first floor turning the lights on.

Then started on the walls. I held the boards up as Kade secured them. Everyday before we left I took pictures of the progress and posted it to my Facebook.

Mr. Nowern always liked the posts and sometimes he'll come over to see it. He never knew it was there to begin with. Once we got an entire wall in place the team was arriving with the flooring.

It's not real hardwood it's more like tile designed to look like hardwood floor. Once it was close to sundown Mr. Nowern and a whole bunch of cars and trucks came up to the house.

I'm assuming parents of the teammates. They brought food and set the dishes on the kitchen counter. Tomorrow we start decorating.

After we ate we shot off fireworks. Kade pulled his truck around and parked it in front of the house. He grabbed a quilt from his backseat and spread it out.

He helped me up into the bed and sat down next to me. He put an arm around me pulling me close. He kissed my temple before I turned my head making sure he kissed my lips instead.

"Was that your plan?" He asked. I giggled and snuggled closer to his side. "Cale's got a girl boys." One of the guys on the baseball team called out. Kade shook his head while the guys either called out or whistled.

I felt my face turning red. We got most of the interior walls up and most of the flooring down just today. Tomorrow afternoon we finish the walls and try to get more of the flooring down.

He kissed my forehead before the firework show started. About halfway through it. Kade started kissing my cheek down to my neck. "Kade their going to start watching us and not the fireworks." I whispered.

"I don't mind. If I continue to kiss you it could lead to more than just kissing." He whispered back. I giggled. Once the fireworks were over I'm pretty sure Kade's tongue was almost halfway down my throat. Probably the same thing with mine.

I do remember putting my legs over his and him pulling me even closer and me putting my arms around his neck. "Get some." Someone hollered. We broke apart as someone from the team walked by.

"I'm never going to live this down at practice or games." He told me. On Monday they go back to practice in the afternoon and helping with the house in the morning. So Monday afternoon I'm going to be alone to possibly think about what I'm going to do with them for the rest of the summer.

We got up from our spot and got down. Kade folded the quilt up before sticking it back in the backseat. Then we said goodbye to our friends before heading home.

Once there he pulled me across the middle after putting the console up. "There's several things I don't want those guys to see. Especially when I'm with my girl." Wait did he just call me his?

"And that is?" I asked. "This." He kissed me as he pulled me onto his lap. He deepened it by slipping his tongue in and I returned the gesture. My fingers found his hair and I gently tugged at it.

His hands were intertwined in my hair as we broke away for air. "And if any of them give me crap over it I will make sure they regret it by telling the guys who that person likes and has screwed." He said before kissing my cheek.

"Come on let's go in and get cleaned up." He said, but I knew it was an excuse just to try and get rid of something that kept poking me when I was straddling him.

I can't believe that I actually made him have one. We walked into the quiet house. His parents and Kaleb were still back at the house.

We took turns in the shower. He made me sit on the counter because he wanted me to talk to him while he was in. Once he was done he grabbed a towel and stepped out. Can I just rate how absolutely gorgeous my friends are?

His abs have extended since the beginning of summer. When he said it wasn't twelve year old size anymore I understood what he meant by that. Every part of him was almost pure muscle. "Like what your looking at?" He asked smirking.

"And yes your almost drooling." He added. He wrapped a towel around his waist and came closer to me. He kissed me one more time. "Might want to get your shower before the rest of the family comes." He said.

I slid off the counter and started to take my clothes off. He unclasped my bra before I took my underwear off and stepped into the shower.

I scrubbed my hair and body before rinsing off and grabbing a towel. I dried my hair, back and most of my legs before stepping out with the towel wrapped around me.

There was Kade where he was before I got into the shower. Still wrapped in a towel. "You missed a spot on your legs." He told me. "I didn't want a wet towel." I told him. He came closer and put his arms around my waist.

"You got to see more of me than the guys have since we went swimming at the beginning of the summer." He said starting to pull the towel away. "You know you shouldn't be ashamed of what's under the towel or clothes. We both know that God made you perfect in his eyes.

"He sees everyone as perfect no matter what their flaw is. And just like God I think your perfect even with your imperfections." He said setting the towel on the counter.

"Your still beautiful no matter what other people say." He kissed me before he grabbed the towel. "May I?" He asked. I let him finish drying me off before picking me up and carrying me out into his room.

Luckily the door was closed and locked so Kaleb couldn't barge in or his parents didn't see anything they weren't supposed to. I found one of his shirts to wear and put it over my bare body.

He found a pair of shorts and put them on over his bare butt. We got into his bed and he pulled me close. The Ac was either off or at the point where it was barely even on.

It was hot in the house. Kade took his comforter off the bed and took his shorts off. Being this close to him and feeling that it was kind of freaky. He kissed my cheek.

"What's wrong?" He asked. I tried to move up. He scooted farther down. "Is that better?" He asked. I nodded as he kissed a spot on my neck. I was already burning up so I took the shirt off.

He kissed me once more before I heard his even breathing. This is the closest we've ever slept especially like this.
