5 - Truth or Lie

" Deal. " Changkyun said.

" REALLY OPPA ?! " A short hair girl screamed with another girl with middle length hair.

" Hey we should do a fanclub for Changkyun oppa. What you say girls ? " The girl with long wavy hair asked her two friends.

" Brilliant idea !! " Hyejin , the girl with short hair said. The three started to fangirling and dreaming about the fanclub while Changkyun stood there , annoyed with the girls.

This is the most stupid dicision I made..... , Changkyun sighed.

" Hey, I have math class now. See ya. " He said and left the three girls. They were talking something to him but he ignored them.

" Talk to me later. " He said.

" Miss , sorry I'm late. I lost just now. Still confused with the building. " Changkyun apologized to the teacher.

" Are you the new student ? " She asked . " Yes I am. " Changkyun nodded. " I see.. Please take a sit. We just about to start our class. " She said. He bowed and looking for Areum.

Where is she ? , He thought, still looking for her.

" New student, why are still standing here ? Do you want to teach the class ? " The teacher said and the students laughed at him.

" Ahh joesonghamnida.. " He embarrased with himself, he then took an empty seat beside the window at the back. There was two empty seat there.

I am sure Areum sits here. , he thought.

After the class has settled down, a girl came into the class. She just bow to the teacher and didnt say anything to her. Areum felt the girls giving her death glare. She just ignored them.

She then went to the back , where she used to sit but she froze a minute when she saw Changkyun sitting there while waving his hand to her.

" That's why..... " Areum mumbled.

During the lesson, Areum heard alot the girls talking about her. She also noticed someone glaring at her.

" Hey, are you okay ? " Changkyun noticed Areum looking down all the time. " Dont talk to me... " Areum scoffed.

" Okay class. We ended our lesson until here. Dismiss. " As soon as the teacher said 'dismiss' , Areum immidiately stood and left the class.

" Yahh Areum ssi ! " But too late, she already left. Changkyun then noticed a note under her desk. He took and read it.

He makes me more suffer

He sighed after he read it. He then went out to find Areum but instead, he bumped into the three girls.

" So, are you ready to know her secrets ? " Mijoo , the girl with wavy hair ,said. " We will tell at the rooftop. " Haneul said.

" So what you girls know about her? " Changkyun asked.

" She is crazy and weird. " Hyejin said. " I heard that alot. Reason? " He looked at her .

" Well, I did saw her once talking to dead rat. " Hyejin said. " Ewww that's gross. " Mijoo said.

" She also never went to cafe during recess but instead she went to an old store room. " Haneul said. " What she's doing there? " Changkyun furrowed his eyebrows.

" Nice question. People said she is worshipping to the ghost. " Hyejin said and got hit by Mijoo. " Pabo. If she calling the ghost, this school might be haunted by now. "

" Ouchh! I dont know, I heard people said that. " Hyejin rubbed her head.

" I'm getting boring here. Dont let me leave you girls. " Changkyun warned.

" Mainhe oppa! " They apologized. " I will tell about her with details. " Mijoo said.

" If you want to know that, she never had a friend before. Even a single friend. People said she had mental disorder. There's one day, she almost killed one of the student here. Luckily, a teacher saw the incident. The student alive. From that day, no one dare to be friend with her. Also if you want to know, her fam-! " She being cutted by a sound of thunder.

" SHIT I FORGOT MY UMBRELLA. " Hanuel cursed. " OMO ME TOO FAM " Hyejin freaked out. Then they looked at Mijoo , Mijoo noticed it and she sighed, " Okay I will sending you girls home. "

She then received a called. It was her mother. " Okay mom. I will be going now. " She ended the call and turned to Changkyun.

" Oppa, we need to go. We will continue tomorrow during recess same place. Dont be late! " Mijoo said and he just nodded his head.

Changkyun was thinking so hard about the stories that the girls told him while walking toward the school exit. The rain was really heavy so he thinking of to stay there until the rain stop.

He then saw Areum , standing alone at his right side while looking at the sky. He then went to her slowly while thinking of nice sentences to apologize her about what happened in the Math class just now.

He sighed " H-hey Areum. Do you have time ? " He said , looking down while rubbing his neck. Areum startled a bit and took a few steps back. " I am sorry for what happened just now. " Changkyun said.

" I..I am sorry for making your life more suffer. " he sighed. After hearing that, Areum widen her eyes. This is the first time someone apologized to her. Tears suddenly streaming down from her eyes.

She then makes her first step to run away but someone held her hand before she could run. Then a sudden force pulled her and she landed on broad chest. A pair of warm hands started to feel around her body.

" I will be there for you everytime you feel alone or in pain. I'm here for you. " He whispered. Areum began more confusing and her head hurt alot made her crying on his chest.

" Cry as you want. " Changkyun said while patting her head gently.After she has settled down a bit, she slowly pulled her face. Areum finally had a courage to reveal her secret to someone " My family hates me.. " She said softly.

" Huh ? " Changkyun looked at her. " They hate me so much.. " Areum stated and slowly looked at him. She feels so calm whenever she looked at him. Then a question pop out from her head , " Who are you ? " .

Changkyun froze when she asked that. " I know you are not from here. " Areum said. " I..I cant really tell you. But I am your guardian. " he smiles and " that's why I always be with you wherever you go. " he continues.
