8 - Soft Touch

The little girl watching her dead uncle swimming on his own blood in horror but at the same time she felt safe. The devil has died.

She came back to reality when she heard a woman voice calling out her uncle's name. "JaeSun! We're back with your favourite hot coff-" The woman stopped as she saw her brother, lying on the red floor.

"Mom, I can explai-" The little girl was about to get to her mother, her feet froze. "Back off  you monster! You are not my child!" The woman looked at her with disgust.

"But mom-!"

Suddenly, she being dragged by a man, who is her own father. "Appa! My arm is hurt!" The man then throw the little girl with great force into the underground room. The little girl was thrown from the stairs and loud thud sound could be heard as she landed on the ground.

With a few left of energy, she slowly stood up with her elbows and looked at her father, "Appa please hear me! It's not my fault-!"

"You disgust me, devil child. Don't call me appa from now." With that, he shut the door and locked it.

"Appa!" The little girl cried out and desperately climbed up the stairs but she was too weak and she could feel her right foot dislocated.

The little girl cried and cried until she lost all of her energy and her voice but no one coming to save her.

'Please... anyone... save me...'

"Since that, they blame me for any misfortune came to them. Because why? Their source of life, dead."

Areum fingernails were white from clenching her fists so hard and blood started to come out. Changkyun noticed it he quickly held her hands in kneeling position and care her hands gently. Somehow, Changkyun could feel her pain and sorrow. His heart ache. It is so pain. He never felt sorrowful before.

'Fuck why she must go through all this bullshit?! Fuck it's so unfair! I should have been with her since that.'

He tighten his hands with hers. He came back to reality when soft and small hands touched his face. His face slowly being lifted until his eyes met beautiful hazel eyes. She gave a weak smile while wiping his tears with her thumbs.

'Beautiful'

"So, you can feel me huh?" Areum giggled a little. Changkyun was confused. How can she still smiling? Without any warning, they lips were sealed, once again.

'Her lip...so soft.'

Changkyun wanted the scene hold longer but Areum already pushed his chest. Both of them were blushed madly. "S-Sorry.." Areum said softly and looked away.

His heart cannot deal with her cuteness anymore, he carried her like a bridal style. "From now, I will always be by your side no matter what happen and be with you everyday." He smiled.

"I don't-!" Areum's eyes widen open as she can read his mind. "No no no... I can't do that." She struggled as she wanted him to put her down but Changkyun held her tighter. "They will be very mad if they found out I tried to run away from them." She still struggling with him.

"Areum." A soothing voice calm her down. Her eyes then met his. She could see how serious he is as their mind were talking to each other.

"Trust me. Okay?" He pulled her closer to him. Areum was hesitated at first, but she felt really safe with him, she accepted him. She hugged his neck and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Let's go home." Changkyun said while smiling.

'Home?' , she thought.

"Tch. Nice move, Changkyun but please don't celebrate it to early. I will take her away from you. Soon."

A tall black figure flashed his sinister smile as he watching the Guardian with his Queen.

Who is he?
Could it be that Changkyun's rival?
or just his member?
