Dylan's Point Of View
Clothes scattered around my room in an attempt to see what I could bring to the new school.
Why did we even have to leave anyway?
Wouldn't there be a school closer then all the way in the ocean?
"Whoa! It looks like there was a tornado in here!" Somones voice gasped from behind me making me jump.
I spun around to see Ryen sitting in my window.
"Don't do that! You scared me!" I yelled at him crossing my arms.
"Well, sor-ree" He laughed at me and I shot him daggers.
"You should be... I can't figure out what to bring! I only have that suit-case!" I said frustraited pointing at my white suitcase.
His eyes widened, "You could fit like 3 people in that thing!" He gasped.
"Ya, but it's not big enough!"
"I'm already done packing," I said cockily.
"Well that's because your a guy, It's going to take me all the time I have in these 2 days to pack!" I yelled exasperated.
"You'll do it don't worry," He got up and looked at my bag.
"And what are you going to tell everyone? And what's your reason for us leaving so fast? And what about your boyfriend?" He added the last part a little grudgingly.
"Oh, well, I've only been going out with Zach for 4 days, and plus he just wants to get in my pants, it won't be a big deal when I break up with him. And I don't know what to tell the rest of the people, I mean, what are we going to say? 'Oh sorry, we're leaving you all behind to go to some school that we have no idea where it is'."
"He wasn't good for you, but we'll figure out something, do you need help packing?" He asked.
"Nah, I'm good, Thanks though!" I gave him a hug.
"You--Need-to--learn--not--to--squeeze--so--hard--" He gasped and I let go.
"Sorry, You're just soooo huggable!" I pinched his cheeks.
"Well I'm glad that you can hurt me at your pleasure," He smiled, but it sounded like he meant something more.
"I don't MEAN to...." I mumble.
"It's fine, I'm gonna go, see you tomorrow Dylan." He said climbing out the window.
"Love you Ryen!" I yell.
"Love you to Dylan," He calls back and I turn around trying to figure out what to pack next.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunlight blasted into my face as I cracked my eyes open.
I groaned but got out of bed.
My hand ran itself through my hair because of a habit and I looked around.
My clock on the wall said that it was 1:30pm and I looked over to see my suit-case packed, I had stayed up practically all night packing, and I had a little extra room for some extras I wanted to bring!
I walked into my bathroom that was attached to my room and I turned on the shower.
I stripped of my pajamas and stepped into the shower letting the warm water wake me up.
I quickly shampooed and conditioned my hair before rinsing it out and wrapped my towel around my body.
The fan had switched on so the bathroom wouldn't fog up, and I started drying my hair letting the curls naturally flow down before I brushed through the knots.
My eyes peered around the corner as a precaution and I stepped back into my room.
I grabbed some black shorts and two tank tops, on pink one black, a black bra, and slipped them on, putting the pink tank top on last.
My feet carried me to my bathroom once again and I applied some light make up.
I stared at myself satisfied.
I hauled my suitcase down the stairs, leaving little nicks in the floor.
"Are you all done packing?" My mother asked.
"Ya, I am," I said.
"Alright well we are leaving later tonight because your flight is at 1:34 am on Monday." She mumbled.
"1:34am?" I gasped.
"Yes, that was the only flight available, your brother will pick you up when you get there."
'Marcus goes to that school? I havn't seen him for two years! Well, except for skype," I said.
"Yes, he does, so I would go say your goodbyes to everyone before you go ok?"
"Fine..." I sighed.
I walked out the door pulling out my phone and texting my best friend Kaycee.
--Can you come over? I'm leaving tomorrow... **Dylan**
--WHAT!?! Without saying goodbye?!? be right over ^^Kaycee^^
I went over to Ryen's house and before I could even knock on the door Ryen opened. it.
"Hey!" I gave him a hug.
"Hello, who's that?" He pointed behind me to a speeding car that stopped directly in the middle of the street.
I rolled my eyes, "That's Kaycee," I laughed.
She got out of the car and like a speeding bullet she was at my side.
"Oh don't leave!" She cried.
"I wish I didn't have to, but I do... it sucks...." I told her trying to make her feel better.
"Well, I can only stay for a little but, we have to stay in touch ok?" She sniffed.
"I promise we will," I hugged her.
"Have fun at your new school" She said as someone in the car honked the horn.
"Bye!" She gave me one last hug before bolting back to the car and it sped away.
"Girl goodbyes confuse me," Ryen told me holding back laughter.
"Oh shut up you!" I slapped him on his chest.
'Fine fine," he raised his hands in surrender.
"Now for the hard part..... Breaking up with Zach...." I raised my phone up.
