(The one and only for the entire book)
Marcus' P.O.V.
I could tell that things weren't going well between Ryen and Dylan.
They weren't talking, or looking at each other.
It was like one didn't exist to the other.
I took a walk, following the scent of Ryen. I came upon him on the beach.
He was wearing no shirt and his arm was in some sort of makeshift sling.
I sat next to him. He tensed and jumped back. Seeing that it was only me, he relaxed. A little.
"What's up?" I asked casually, as if I didn't see his many injuries.
He shrugged.
"Fighting with my little sis?"
He looked at me, almost scared.
I smiled. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you. Just tell me what hapened."
He sighed.
Then he did.
My eyes widened. "Dylan attacked you?"
He nodded, dropping his head.
"Be right back." I said, before standing up and storming towards the school.
I went and knocked on Dylan's door. She answered and so did Trey.
He eyes lit up when she saw me. "Marcus!" She ran and gave me a hug. "What do you need?"
I smiled down at her. "Hey, Dylan." then I held out my hand to Trey. "Hi. I am Dylan's older brother."
He grinned back. Gosh! He even smiles like a jerk. I though.
"Trey." he answered smirking
"Could I talk to you alone, Trey?" I fake smiled.
He shrugged. "Sure."
We walked away from Dylan. Then I turned.
"I know what you did." I paused. "What you're doing."
He smirked at me. "What are you talking about?"
I narrowed my eyes. "You know what i am talking about, you pathetic loser."
Trey lost the smile.
He glared, shooting daggers at me.
"Look. I don't care if you date my sister. The main thing as that you can't convince her to attacking people." I stepped my right leg back. Then I was already in my fighting stance. "That seems to be what you're doing."
"You know nothing." Trey spat.
My eyes widened as he morphed into a lion.
I morphed into a mountain Lion.
He was considerably stronger, but I was fighting for my sister... and her poor friend Ryen.
He swatted his paw foreword and I dashed back.
He lunged for me, but I simply dodged.
His eyes narrowed.
Then he lowered himself to the ground.
I did the same.
We sat there, waiting for the other to make a move.
Eventually Trey was the one to do that.
He jumped, but I simply rolled out of the way.
His paws slammed to the ground and he was after me again.
But the difference this time he had me.
I batted the underside of his belly with my back claws.
He gave out a roar, and I felt him loosen his grip on me. I wiggled my way out and ripped at his pelt.
He ran about, trying to through me off, while I held onto his back.
He ran into a tree.
Wow smart!
We both collapsed, exhausted.
"Guys?"
We both turned to see Dylan standing in the light.
Trey morphed into his human form and over exaggerated his limping.
"Hey babe."
I morphed back too.
"What's going on?" Dylan looked from Trey to me.
Then she glared at me.
Man if looks could kill, I'd be dead.
She advanced on me. "You attacked, Trey?!?!?!"
I blinked. "What?!?!"
