Ryen's P.O.V.
"Because I love him!"
I nearly fell myself.
Did she really?
She loved me?
I felt the world start to spin around me. My whole life I had been waiting to hear those three magic words.
There they were.
Dylan loved me.
I shook my head realizing what I had to do.
Trey's shoulders sagged a little before speaking, "Baby-"
"No!" Dylan screamed. She looked like she was nearly in tears. She turned away from us and put her head in her hands.
"But Dylan, I love yo-"
"No!" she screamed again. Then she turned and fled from the room, crying.
Trey turned to me, hatred filling his eyes.
Uh-oh.
I dashed out as fast as I could after Dylan. I heard the thumping footsteps as Trey and Mike followed me. Eventually, I out ran them easily and their footsteps faded away.
I decided to check Dylan's dorm.
I knocked and Lucy peered out.
"Oh, it's only you." she sighed. Then she opened the door and I walked in.
Dylan was sitting on the bed. I went and sat next to her and she wrapped her arms around me. I noticed that her eyes and nose was still red from crying.
"Dylan?" I asked cautiously after a while.
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
She looked at me and I looked lovingly into her eyes. She gave me a small peck on the lips. "I love you too."
My heart starting beating like a humming bird. This is real. It's not a dream!
I gently grabbed her hand and took her out of my room.
As we walked through the hall, I kept a good look out for Trey or his buddies.
Lukily I saw none, so we kept going.
I led Dylan to my room and put her on the couch. She looked around my room. "Where is Jake and Carl?"
I walked into the kitchen. "They left a while ago."
"Oh."
I made a few sandwiches and grabbed a bag of chips.
I put it all in a bag and walked back into the living room. Dylan looked at me with curious eyes, but didn't object when I grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the room again.
We headed through the halls and eventually made our way outside. The sun was starting to reach the horizon. We made our way to the beach.
She did a one-eighty and looked at the scenery.
I sat on the sand and patted next to me with my one good arm.
Dylan grinned and sat next to me, snuggling into my side. I put my good arm around her. I set the bag of food next to us and the sun started to dip it's tired head under the horizon.
The sky exploded into a rainbow of different colors. The reds spread it's tentacles across the sky, meshing with the yellows creating purples. Dylan gave a small gasp and laid her head on my shoulder.
