I follow him up the ladder, into the tower, and slide down he wall to the floor.

"Alright, so what's happened to you since the apocalypse?" I ask Carl, chuckling quietly.

He sighs and then slides down beside me. When he answers, His voice is small but deep, "My dad was in a coma when this started. We thought he was dead. Glenn and some other survivors found him though in Atlanta," he continued, "When he got back my mom had already banged my dads best friend." I giggled a little. He continued. "A while later after we had found Maggie, Beth, and Hershel. While we were on their farm I was shot by a hunter. Obviously, I lived. And thats how I got the hat. It was my dads. Soon, my mom found out she was pregnant with my dads friends baby after my dad had already shot and killed his friend. Only because Shane had tried to kill Dad though. My mom died during childbirth and I had to shoot her In the head so she wouldnt turn. Later, more trouble was starting. Long story short, a man that called himself the Governor had started a war with us. But, we took care of the problem. Then we found you and now, here we are." He explained.

"Oh...sorry." I mumbled looking down.

"Right back at ya'." Carl sighs.

Its quiet for a moment, giving me time to think over his story.

Who is the Governor and how did they handle that..? A war.

I sigh and feel his finger slide under my chin to look in his eyes.

Carl leans in and I do too.

I had never kissed a boy before so I didn't know how. But he kinda guided it and kissed harder. Our lips moved in sync, gently before they stopped.

Sadly, we were interrupted by the concrete door opening. Carl pulled away, slowly smirking at me.

Daryl looked in for a second at me and Carl still staring into each others eyes. Or maybe it looked like we were staring into each others souls.

"Oh shit! Am I interruptin' somethin'?" He asks frantically.

"Yes, yes you are." Carl sighs, chuckling quietly.

I look away and stared at the ground. It wasnt as pretty as Carl's eyes but I became awkward. Like always.

Daryl shuts the door before I hear him stomping down the stairs and then, nothing. I push myself up off the ground and slide my gun out of my pocket.

"Uhm... We probably need to focus." I mumble and walked out to the balcony that stretched around the whole tower.

Carl had a look of disappointment on his face and weakly nodded. He stand up himself and walked over next to me. We didnt say one word for the rest of the afternoon.

•Sorry this one was seriously short!•
