Chapter 29:Under The Sunset(Unedited)

Katsumi POV...

It was our 4th night here in Uchiura and tomorrow will be our last before we have to leave. How muchhave I opened up to them? Did I make a wise decision to do this? Or was it, a bad one that I will regret later on. Whatever it is there is no baking out.

"Seijuro," The sun was officially setting making the sky look like one of those in a cliche love story when the two lovers actually kiss, "I don't know what you are trying to say." Stupidest thing I have ever said. It is official, he's suspicious. But why do I care? It's not like I was trying to impress him or anything.

He rose a brow at my comment and choose to say something back. "Why do you keep your past a secret?" Why is he so curious about my past? He shouldn't be asking people about that but I thought he.... Why do I think about him so much, to begin with? Why am I even in love with him? What am I doing? I thought I told myself that we will only remain as friends. 

But yet why? I let go of his hand and stood right in front of him facing the ocean water. "Seijuro," I put up my emotionless face, "why do you care so much about me?" I need to know. I just have to but still, I already asked him that question before in his house. "Tell me the truth."

A few seconds has passed and he had yet to answer. The sun was almost halfway down and we still have to go back. I can continue with this forever but I need to end my forbidden emotions with him. It will never work out in the future. Seijuro, no Akashi, I need to say goodbye to the feelings I have for you and it will end tonight.

"I'm going back." 

Narrator POV...

As Katsumi ran away from Akashi, Akashi only stood there looking down at the sand. He didn't know what to think. His mind was filled with millions of thoughts but one thing he wished he did was stopped her.

He turned around and left his head up. It was a scenic view of the sun setting but he wished he could have spent it with her. Why must he be such a coward? He knew he acts differently whenever she's with him but he wished he didn't ask those words.

Katsumi, why are you so full of secrets?

It was not his place to know about her dark past but all he wanted was to know her more and get closer to her. 'Stupid.' He said to himself mentally.

The sun was now officially down with the moon taking its place. It was too late for him o reverse what he had did. He already got a report from the private investigator via email but all it contained was nothing of importance.

It has nothing with her past. It was all shrouded in mystery. The only thing the email said was when she transferred to Teiko and after that. Everything else is a mystery. The investigator was not even sure that her name was Momoi Katsumi in fact but Akashi knew she was a Momoi.

He quietly walked along the shore to go back to his massive beach house.

Katsumi POV...

I stare at the moon as I propped my elbows on the study table that was provided in my temporary room.The sky looks so gloomy tonight I wonder why? Maybe it's because I'm finally going to give up my love towards Akashi? Who knows.

After this day, I'll try my best to treat him like everyone else.

It was now the last day that I, along with the rest of the GoM, shall stay in Akashi's beach house. The next day we shall leave on exactly 4 in the morning to go back to Teiko and after that, we shall part ways. The afternoon had come in like a breeze and Ane and I have been pressing the miracles. They had to finish the training regime that we had created for them and if they don't, the rest of the summer they will spend all of their time training. But if they actually finish it, they will have a week off of training from the courtesy of Satsu-nee.

I had concluded that I shall be the same and not change my behaviour so that no one will get suspicious. "50 more suicides Aomine-kun, Kise-kun you have 23 more and Kuroko- kun you're on your last." I told him when he reaches back to the finishing line.

"*Huff* Wha- wh*Huff*" Aomine tries to say before forcing his legs to run back. "Nee-chan, can we switch places. The sun is too hot." Satsu-nee says when she opens the door to the basketball court.

"Sure." I said before making my way out. Now that we switch places, I get to go out to the beach and train Midorima, Murasakibara and Akashi while Ane trains the other half. But I do wonder why Satsu-nee complained it was hot when she isn't even sweating.

"Murasakibara-kun, I need you to jump higher." I said to him when I saw his height lowered. If he continues this is will be a great advantage when he jumps on the court. Especially when he is the center.

"Midorima-kun after you are finished doing your jumping ropes along with Murasakibara-kun I want you two to go for a 30 minute run." I told him. 

I look at them both waiting for Akashi to return from his laps that I had sent him to do. Maybe I should go and join him to improve my stamina as well but won't that be suspicious? We were the last two to go back to the beach house yesterday night and Midorima may get questionable. I think I can wait. I'll do the jumping ropes after Midorima is done.
