Chapter 21: The Bus Ride (Unedited)

Narrator POV...

Katsumi, Satsuki and the rest of the GoM were boarding the long bus, except for Akashi, that Satsuki had called for. Their luggage were being placed at the back of the travel bus as they started to board the gigantic bus.

Katsumi stepped up and was amazed by how roomy it was. She had never been to a bus before and it was her first time. She was excited but didn't show it. She sat at the right side of the bus next to a window, the third row while Aomine sat at the very back along with Kise and Satsuki. Midorima sat in the first row, left side with his headphones plugged in listening to Oha-Asa while Murasakibara sat 5 seats behind Katsumi.

At exactly 1:30 am today in the morning, Akashi had sent a text to everyone to reach in front of Teiko at 5:21 am and should be boarded at the time of 5:25 am. Although everyone came in time, Akashi was the only one left to come.

"What is taking that red head so long?!"Aomine shouted grumpily. He didn't have the chance to have a good nights rest yesterday because of who knows what and he is the angriest out of everyone. "It's okay for him to be late but not me?!" He yelled once again.

"It's Akashi, he'll eventually come, nanodayo." Midormina unplugs his earphones and started to go through his duffle bag. He pulled out what seems to be his swimming trunks. "I'm hungry~." Muraskibara says sleepily although he has a bag of chips next to him.

While the GoM were getting a bit restless, Katsumi leans her head against the window thinking about Akashi. 'I wonder what made you do this Akashi. Why did you text everyone so early in the morning?' Questions upon questions kept on flooding into her head until the one person she wants to see most finally stepped up the stairs of the bus. 

Everyone turned silent to see their leader emitting a scary aura. He stomped into the bus and slumped himself next to Katsumi. He rested his head on her shoulder as Katsumi looked at him stunned. Her heart started to beat faster and faster as the rest of the GoM were all astonished.

Katsumi POV...

I look at his sleeping face as my heart starts to beat faster and faster. A war started to break loose inside me. I tried my best not to let the blush to com to my face but I couldn't help but turn into a ripe tomato. 

The driver started the bus and we sped off in a normal pace. When the GoM finally came back to their senses, Satsu-nee, Kise and Aomine started to take pictures of us. "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity," Aomine says as he took pictures with his phone. 

"Imagine what Akashicchi will think when he sees Momoicchi's face ssu." Kise went in different angles while snapping pictures of us. I tighten m fist that was on my lap and blushed a deeper shade of red.

"Nee-chan is blushing." Satsu-nee fangirls. "Baka, if Akashi wakes up you all will be in trouble, nanodayo." Midorima says as he looks at us. This road trip will be very very long and awkward but soon enough, I fell asleep on Akashi's head.

Narrator POV...

The whole GoM were amazed by the one in a lifetime scene they were seeing. Akashi was sleeping on Katsumi's shoulder while she leans her head on his. Aomine, Kise and Satsuki were the most surprised out of all of them and they continue to take pictures of them through the whole trip.

But in the middle of Kise taking pictures of the two, the bus stopped for a sudden break. This resulted in making him fall all the way to Murasakibara's row and smash his large bag of potato chips.

Murasakibara glared at Kise as if he was a serial killer and got up from his seat. Kise ran all the way to the back and hid being Aomine's back. "Oi! Don't involve me in this!" Aomine yells. They all know too well what happens when you mess around with his food. "Get off of me!" Aomine yells as he tries to yank the blonde off of his back.

"Save me ssu!" Kise yells in fright. Muraskibara stomps up to them and glared. You can actually see the black aura he was emitting. The two started to shake uncontrollably as Satsuki tried to move to another row. 

"No! If I die you die!" Aomine pulls Satsuki in front of him. She let out a scream and tried to scramble out of the way but this resulted in making Midorima yell at them. "Damare!" From the corner of his eye, he saw Akashi and Katsumi twitch.

Everything was in chaos. Murasakibara squishing everyone's head while Midorima yells at them to stop. The only one who was calm and not sleeping is the driver and Kuroko. They all completely forgot about him in fact maybe because he was sitting behind Midorima?

Unbeknownst to them, a pair of sharp red scissors was flying their way."Ahhh!" They all erupt to screams. Akashi sent a deathly glare at them signalling them to be quiet. The only thing you can hear was the bus moving and whatever else was happening to the outside world.

Akashi sat back down and looked at Katsumi's sleeping figure. 'Cute.' He thought. She slept through all the noise and still was sleeping even though her head was now rested on the window because of Akashi getting up.

Akashi gently places her head on his lap and started to stroke her long silky pink hair.  He was looking at her with a soft expression along with a smile on his face. Thank goodness the GoM were too scared to even look at their leader or else they might start taking pictures again.

Katsumi POV...

I flutter my eyes open to see what looks like  a blob of red hair. Wait?! Red hair?! I finally came to my sense and saw Akashi looking at me. I was laid on his lap and felt his hand brushing my hair. I turned into a light shade of red and sat up immediatly. "Arigato." I said while pushing a strand of pink hair behind my ear.

My heart was beater faster. Much faster in fact. I was looking at my hands that were on my lap trying to avoid eye contact with Akashi. He's going to be the death of me. I can feel his stare but tried my best to ignore it.
