Part 1 : On terrace...

It was one of the hottest day of Summers in Jaipur.

Night was a bit relief from the scorching heat.

After having a full fledged dinner Randhir went upstairs to the terrace of their house(RadhaKrishna Nivas)

On reaching terrace he whistled and jumped on to the next terrace(Sanyukta's house - Agrawal Sadan)

On listening to whistle, Sanyukta climbed up to the terrace where Randhir was already waiting for her.

"Doctors are never late" Randhir taunted her

"Awww...sometimes its okay to be late..." Sanyukta replied

"Why do you always keep me waiting?" Randhir made a face

"Cause I love to tease..you" she replied pulling his cheeks

"Don't keep me waiting that day" he said

"Which day?" She cocked her brows

"On our marriage day...uss din intezaar karvaya na toh dekhna tum" he said

"Ohh hello!" "Konsi shaadi..kiski shaadi?" She laughed

"Our Shaadi" He cleared

"Direct shaadi...first propose me" she said

"what to propose?" "I love you and you know that" "You love me I know that" he said

"This is not fair...you have to propose me" "First with 'I love you' proposal and then for Shaadi" She whined

"Okay...I will...happy?" "But...the big problem is our families" "What about them?" Randhir pointed out

"We will make them understand" "I know they will understand and will get agree for it" She said with utter positivity

"But how?" "Our families are rivals" he said

"We will do it" Sanyukta took his hand in hers thus assuring him

"And if they say NO...if they don't agree...toh sach main tumhe bhaga ke le jaunga" Randhir said

"It won't happen..I am sure our parents will understand it" Sanyukta said

"If you say so..I trust you..." Randhir said

"And I love you" she said

"I love you more" He said and was about to hug her when they heard Kishore calling Sanyukta

"Ohh no...Papa..." She pushed Randhir and ran down

Randhir chuckled on her actions

"Yes Papa..." Sanyukta came down and joined everyone in living area

"Where were you beta?" "We all are waiting for you" "Ice-cream nahi khani kya" Kishore said

"Yes Papa.." Sanyukta quitely joined everyone

"How is your studies going on?" Kishore asked

"It going good" Sanyukta replied

"I am so proud of you" "My daughter is going to become doctor" Kishore said

Sanyukta was happy hearing those words from her father

"I am proud father" kishore added

"Varna aajkal ke baache...just look at that Shekhawat ka beta Randhir"

"Useless fellow..." "Does nothing... Huh!" "Shekhawat deserves this" Kishore said

Sanyukta felt bad hearing that.

"You are saying this cause you don't know Randhir, Papa" Sanyukta thought

"He is gem" Sanyukta mumbled

RadhaKrishna Nivas

Renuka and Harsh were siting in balcony and were having a usual chit chat

Randhir was roaming around the house just when H caught him.

"Randhir...come here" Harsh ordered him

Randhir made a face and joined him pasting a fake smile on his face.

"When are you going to join me...in our family business" Harsh asked directly

"He started again..." Randhir mumbled

"come on tell me.." Harsh said

"Papa after Holi..." Randhir said

"Great so in next 15 days you are joining me in business...glad to hear that" Harsh chirped

"Not this holi Papa...next year after Holi" Randhir answered

Harsh's face expression changed into a frowned one.

"What?" "What are you saying?" "Did you hear Renuka what he said" "Useless..." "Nikaamo ki tarah ghumna bandh karo aab" "Do some work...kaam karo kaam" Harsh roared

"Papa...work is for life" "Woh toh chalta hi rahega zindagi bhar" "Right now I want to enjoy my life" Randhir said

"Enjoy?" "What is exact definition  of enjoying a life for you Randhir" "Will you explain me?" "Even I want to know" "Kaise karte ho tum aapni life enjoy" harsh said

"Papa..not like that but...I know after you I have to run our business...which I will do..for sure" "But please don't force me to join business right now" "I am not prepared for it" Randhir said

"Then when Randhir?" "When?" "After my death?" Harsh shouted

"Papa please...don't say like this" "I promise I will join our business but aabhi nahi" Randhir made it clear

Harsh looked away.

"You'll never understand it Randhir" "You will never understand it...aab mujse nahi hota" "I am tired" "I am working continuously since I was just 20 years old when my father died" "And now I am 60" "40 years of non-stop work"

"I need someone to release burden of my work now" "I thought my son is best person for that...but" Harsh said in disappointment and Randhir felt bad

"You were never interested in studies..I never said anything to you" "I never scolded you when you scored less marks or failed in exams" "I said nothing" "Thinking my son will excel in other field" "He will run our business successfully"

"But..." "Just look at that Agrawal's daughter Sanyukta" "She is studying medicine" "Everytime I see her..I think Agrawal is really lucky" "And Agrawal gets a chance to taunt me on basis of that" Harsh said

"Wow Papa...you are talking about my would be wife and your would be daughter-in-law" "Wah Sanyukta..you are already winning hearts in my family" Randhir thought

"Forget it..there is no point in talking to you" Harsh left disappointed

Randhir looked down.

He felt guilty

He knows his father has expections from him but he is not yet ready to take responsibility of their business on his shoulders
