PART 14 : Long distance?

Days rolled on.
SanDhir often meet on terrace. Sanyukta informs Anju about it.
Anju in a way is happy for Sanyukta. She knew Randhir is nice guy.
She has seen him growing up.
Seeing their love and determination...she felt happy.
She is confident about Randhir being a perfect guy for Sanyukta.
Also Sanyukta shared so many things about Randhir to Anju.
It made Anju more confident on their relationship.
The only thing that is worrying her is the rivalry their family shares.
Anju met Randhir.
She was impressed by him.
Randhir was happy to know that someone from Sanyukta's family is there to support them.
On the other hand the bitter relations between two families have started becoming a little sweet.
Not that Harsh & Kishore have forgotten everything but now they don't usually fight.
They don't share warm and friendly relations yet but the things are a bit better between them.
Randhir is fully engrossed in work. Sanyukta have started preparing for entrance exams and waiting for results.

"OMG...84%..." Sanyukta jumped in excitement seeing her result
"80%..." vidushi hugged her immediately
"Wow Vidu...congrats"
"Same to you..."
The girls shared a happy hug
"Chal internship list check karte hai" Sanyukta said.
Girls rushed to their principal's office Sanyukta checked her name in the list.
"Sanyukta Agrawal..." "Allocated internship" "Delhi Medical College" She read
"Wow...Delhi..." vidushi chirped in excitement but looking at Sanyukta she controlled herself
"Sanyukta..." "What happened?" Vidushi asked
"Umm nothing..."
Sanyukta looked lost and upset
"Aren't you happy" Vidushi said
"Yes I am...happy..."
"But...Delhi" "I have to go Delhi for 6 months of internship"
"Randhir..."Sanyukta mumbled
"Hmm...I understand" "But he will understand it too" Vidushi said

"Anju...humari beti doctor ban gayi" Kishore's happiness knew no bounds "I am very proud of you Sanyu.." Kishore cupped her face Sanyukta touched his feet.
She took blessings from Anju.
Anju served sweets to everyone. "Papa...if you allow...can I distribute sweets to...I mean...Harsh uncle ko de aau" Sanyukta said Kishore's expression changed
"He always use to wish me luck...for exams" "Unhone...humesha...mera aacha hi chaha hai" Sanyukta said "Hmm..." "I know..." "He doesn't have any hard feelings for you" "Go..." Kishore said
"Thank you..." Sanyukta said

Sanyukta knocked the door
"Harsh uncle..." She said "Aare...Sanyukta...come beta" Harsh welcomed her
"Uncle...sweets" Sanyukta forwarded the box
Randhir climbed down the stairs. Sanyukta looked at him

"Sweets?" Harsh asked breaking her trance
"My result is out...82%" Sanyukta said "Ohh wow...really" "Congratulations" Harsh said
"Thanks uncle.." She touched his feet "Kishore must be so proud of you" Harsh said
"Yes..." "Aunty sweets" She offered sweets to Renuka
"Congrats beta.." Renuka blessed her Next she offered sweets to Radhika and Shyam.
They congratulated her
Now Randhir's turn
She went to him
"Sweets..." She hold box in front of him
"Congrats" He smirked
"Thanks" "Sweet..." She insisted him He took one ladoo from the box
"I want more..." He mumbled.
She widen her eyes.
"I want more..." He repeated "Randhir...Uncle..aunty..." She fumbled.
Her nervousness.
His smirk.
"I want one more...Ladoo..." He said She looked at him again.
He winked.
He took one more ladoo and left. Sanyukta blushed faintly

"Delhi...for internship" Kishore said "Yes Papa...one of the best colleges" She said
"Great...you can stay at your Mausi's place in Delhi" Kishore said
"I will talk to her" Anju said "No...Maa...I'll stay in hostel" Sanyukta said
"But why...we have our relatives staying there" "Then why to live in hostel" Kishore said
"Papa...college have good hostel facility" "I don't want to become burden on Mausi" "Waha rehkar padhai bhi nahi kar paungi" "It is better I live in hostel" Sanyukta said "But..."
"Papa...please" Sanyukta requested "Okay..as you wish" Kishore agreed

Sanyukta reached her terrace. Randhir was not there.
She was about to dial his number just when she felt a pair of hands wrapping her waist.
"I am here" He said
She turned to face him."Congratulations Sanyukta" He hugged her
"Thanks..." she sounded low
"Will go out tomorrow to celebrate" He said
She didn't responded
"What?" "Say something..." He said "Randhir..."
"What Sanyukta..." He took her hand in his.
"Randhir...I'll be leaving tomorrow" Sanyukta said
"Leaving?" "Where?" He asked casually
"Delhi..." She replied
"Ohh at your Mausi's place" Randhir said.
She kept mum for a while
"You should...you need a vaccation" "Enjoy..." "You will refresh your mind" He said
"Its not a vaccation Randhir" She said "Then...any function to attend" He said
"Randhir...I am going Delhi..." "For internship..." "for 6 months" She said
