PART 15 : Break-up?

What?" He exclaimed in shock
"Yes Randhir" "I have got internship in one of best college" She said Randhir didn't reacted
"Aren't you happy for me Randhir?" She asked
He looked away
"Randhir?" She made him looked at her
"I know...it will be tough for us...but.." "It is not in my hand" "Just 6 months" She said
"6 months Sanyukta..." He said
"I know but...this is big opportunity for me" "Very beneficial for my career" She said
"And what about us?" He said "Randhir...try to understand" She grabbed his hand
"6 months...we both will be away from each other" He said
"I know Randhir...but main kya karu" She said
"Mat jao..." He replied plainly
"What?" She was shocked to hear that "If you already decided that you want to go Delhi" "Toh muje bata bhi kyu rahi ho" he said
"Randhir...I thought you would be happy for me but..."
"Yes I am happy for you but..." he stopped
"But what Randhir?" she said
"6 months Sanyukta" "6 months..." "How are we going to live without each other" He said
"Randhir...just 6 months" "After that..."
"After that you'll go for masters" "Kahi aur chali jaogi" "Then again we are stuck for 2 years" "Phir you'll say I am posted to XYZ city" "You shift there.." "Where are we in all this?" Randhir was high on tone
"Why are you behaving like this?" Sanyukta matched his pitch "Sanyukta...I have always respected you and your career, your aspirations" "But this..." "You will go away from me" "You are my life Sanyukta" He said
"Randhir, you are part of me" "It will be tough for me too...but" "This is my dream Randhir" "I have worked hard for this" "Big opportunity" "How can I miss it?" She said
"I always knew is going to happen one day" He said rudely
"Randhir..." Her eyes widen in shock
"I knew it Sanyukta...yeh problem aani hi wali thi" "Till now...we use to ran away from this reality" "Your life your career...is very different from mine" "Tum doctor ho..aur main...?" "Nothing in front of you" "You are more qualified then me..." "You will gain more respect because of it" "We always knew that our families won't get agree for us" "Still we didn't lose hopes" "But now.."
He stopped looking at her
"Now?" Her eyes became wet
"I can't believe this" "I never expected this from you Randhir" She said "Even I didn't expected it from you" Randhir replied bluntly
"So...kya karu maine?" Randhir walked away from her
"So you are expecting me to sacrifice it" She shouted
"I didn't say that..." "You could have done something" He said
"What do you expect from me that I should do?" She asked
"You could have talked to college authorities" He said
"You think I didn't tried..." "I tried...but even my college people can't do anything in this" "The list came from upper university" "The people from there allocate internships..not my college authorities" She said
"Then go..." He replied coldly "Randhir..." Her voice choked
"I thought...you understand me well" her voice break
"Long distance relationships...don't last for long" He said keeping a stone on his heart
She was hurt hearing that
"And I thought this distance will strengthen our relationship" she said "All the best for your future" He said His voice became heavy but he controlled those tears
"Thank You" her lips trembled
"Take care..." She said
But he left without even acknowledging
She ran back to her room and locked herself
She cried.
He kicked his bike and left his home He needed some alone time
He reached their shop and opened it He pull of the shutter and spent entire night there.
Morning arose.
Anju was helping Sanyukta to pack her luggage.
Sanyukta looked lost Anju noticed that
"Jaane ka maan nahi ho raha" Anju said
"Haan?" Sanyukta looked at her
She didn't heard what Anju said
"Did you had a fight with Randhir?" Anju asked
"No...No Maa..." Sanyukta lied
"Then you look upset...you should be happy" Anju said
"I am going to miss you all"
"Kabhi aap sab se dur nahi rahi na..." Sanyukta said
"You were crying for whole night" "I can see that" "I am sure...this is just not the reason" "Something happened between you two" Anju said
"No Maa...nothing has happened" "In fact Randhir is very happy" Sanyukta replied
"If he is...then its really good" Anju said
"Maa...I am going to miss you all" Sanyukta hugged her mother
"Yes beta..we are going to miss you too" Anju said

"Don't tell me Randhir you had a fight with her on this" Parth said "Arguement..." Randhir replied
"Come on yaar Randhir" "This is not done" "Aab woh uska career toh nahi chod sakti na" Parth said
"I never expect her to do that" "I respect her career..." "But...woh mujse dur toh hogi na" "I don't want her to go away from me" Randhir said "Randhir its matter of just 6 months" Parth said
"And what if she doesn't come" Randhir said
"Don't you trust her" "5 saal ki relationship hai tum dono ki" Parth said
"I trust her Parth...but what after 6 months" "She will go somewhere else for masters" "Phir mujse dur hogi..." Randhir said
"Randhir you are being possessive now" Parth concluded
"Yes I am possessive because I love her" Randhir said
"If you love her..then trust her and give her space" Parth said
"Its impossible for me to live without her Parth" Randhir said
"She must be going through same...but its life yaar" "You have to accept it" Parth said
"I have accepted it..." "After 6 months...once gets admission for masters" "Uske papa uski shaadi karva denge" Randhir said
"Why will she get agree to marry someone else Randhir?" Parth questioned
"Knowing th fact how much she loves you she will never marry other guy" Parth said Randhir looked away
"I can't believe this" Parth left the place in disappointment

Day turned into evening.
Sanyukta will be leaving in sometime She was expecting a call from Randhir.
She knew they cannot meet but a phone call or a simple message is much to expect?
Eliminating this thoughts she thought of texting him
"I am leaving in sometime" She typed After 10 min of wait his reply came "Okay...have a safe journey" He replied
"Can we meet before that?" She typed as her eyes welled up
"I am still at shop" "Will get late" He replied
"Can we have a call" She typed
"I am busy Sanyukta" He replied "Okay..." "Will you come to station to meet me" "Is that possible?" She typed "I said I will get late" He typed "Okay..." She replied
He threw his phone on table
"Nahi milna muje tumse.." "I don't want to meet you..." "Jao..." He fell down on his knees and cried
She sprinted upstairs on terrace
The place where they used to meet. The last they met was yesterday when they had a fight.
She touched the low heighted wall where they used to sit and talk "Sanyu...lets go beta" came Anju's voice

On station Sanyukta took blessings from her parents.
Ankit was going to accompany Sanyukta till Delhi.
Once Sanyukta settles there he will return to Jaipur
"Take care beta" Kishore said Sanyukta nodded
"Sanyu...eat food on time" "Take proper rest" "Okay.." Anju said and kissed her forehead
"Chal Sanyu...train jane ka wakt hogaya" Ankit said Sanyukta got inside the train.
The train started.
She turned back and waited for Randhir.
Just a glimpse of him.
But her heart broke into pieces "Randhir..." her heart said.
The train catched the speed and she was on her way to Delhi.
Randhir parked his bike in parking area at station.
He ran inside
"Konsi train hogi" He thought
He inquired with railway officials "Delhi ke liye aabhi last train konsi gayi" Randhir asked
"aabhi 15 min pehle hi gayi sahab aap late hogaye" the officer said
"ek baar check kiyeje" Randhir asked "Aabhi kiya..next train 4 gante baad hai" The person replies
Randhir realised the importance of losing a precious thing today.
She left and he couldn't meet her before going
He controlled his emotions. "Sanyukta..." His heart cried
