Part 25 : Sanyukta in dilemma

Next Morning

"Offo this Randhir" "Please pick the phone" Sanyukta whined

But to her disappointment he didn't picked the call

"Busy hoga" "But at least...look at me" "How Am I looking?" Sanyukta said looking at the mirror

She wore beautiful golden color lehenga choli for the engagement ceremony.

"I'll click my pic and send it to him" "Best idea"

She quickly clicked her mirror selfie and send it to Randhir

"How Am I looking?" She typed below her pic

After few seconds came his reply

"Good..."

"Huh! Sadu..." "Only good..." she typed

"Sanyu I am busy .." He replied

"But I want you see me" She said

"You are looking good, beautiful..." he replied

"Aren't you attending engagement ceremony" Sanyukta typed

"I don't think I'll be able to make it" Randhir said

"No Randhir...you have to come" She replied

"I'll try..." Randhir replied

"Okay...talk to u later" "Ceremony is about to start" Sanyukta said

"Enjoy.." He replied

The ceremony started

Shekhawats attended the ceremony

Ankit and Arpita exchanged rings

Randhir joined ceremony a little late.

Sanyukta was delighted to see him there.

He looked at her and complimented her looks through eyes.

She blushed a little.

Aryan was observing this

He went to Kishore

"Papa...you said Arpita Bhabhi's cousin is going to attend ceremony" Aryan said

"Ohh yes...he is..I don't think he is arrived yet" Kishore said

"Papa...what was I thinking...once he is here" "We will give some time to him and Sanyukta to talk" Aryan suggested

"Yeah...that's nice idea"  "Once he is here...I'll send both of them on terrace to talk" Kishore said

Randhir was standing in corner and looked lost

Sanyukta was observing him but she cannot go to him and talk

"What's wrong with him?" She thought

He looked at her

She was already looking at him

"What happened?" she asked him through her eyes

"Nothing..." He nodded

"I trust you Sanyukta..." He said in his heart

A young,handsome and sophisticated guy entered Agrawal's house

Every pair of eyes rolled over him

He is none other than Shekhar Singhaniya.

A young,talented and renowned neurologist from Bombay and cousin to Arpita.

Agrawals welcomed him

Aryan smirked looking at Randhir

Randhir got a hint of who he is.

After formal introduction Kishore introduced Shekhar to Sanyukta

Randhir kept calm because he has full faith in Sanyukta

"Sanyu...He is Shekhar" "Bohot bade doctor hai Mumbai main" Kishore introduced

"Hello...nice to meet you" Shekhar forwarded a hand

"Hello.."Sanyukta replied and shake hand

"She is my daughter Sanyukta" "Pursuing masters in cardiology" Kishore said proudly

"That's great" shekhar said

"Umm...Sanyu..why don't you show him our house" Kishore said

Sanyukta got confused

"Papa...but..." Sanyukta was confused

"Take him to the terrace..." "Discuss karo...about your profession, medical field..." "And...about life as well" Kishore said

Sanyukta's confusion got clear. Now she knows why Shekhar is here. 

She hardheartedly agreed with Kishore.

She looked at Randhir.

He smiled a sad one.

Sanyukta and Shekhar went upstairs

"Maa...I am going" Randhir told Renuka

"Aare beta...wait..why are you going?" Renuka said

"Maa...i am not feeling well" He said

"Okay..." Renuka replied

Sanyukta and Shekhar reached terrace.

There was pin drop silence between them

"So...you are studying cardiology" Shekhar broke the silence

"Yes" She replied

"So...ummm...what are you plans in future?" "I mean.." "Do you want to work here only in Jaipur...or if some good opportunity comes then you'll shift any other place" He asked 

"In Jaipur only..." She replied

"Even if you get a big opportunity...still" He asked

"Yes...I don't want to leave Jaipur" Sanyukta made it clear

"Okay..." Shekher nodded

"So...Ummm...what qualities..I mean what kind of guy...you wish.." Shekhar asked hesitatingly

"Shekhar I know why are we here" "But I want to clear some things" "Shekhar...I am not ready yet" "I want to focus on my career" "I am not ready for the marriage stuffs" "Please don't get me wrong" "Muje toh yeh bhi nahi pata tha..ki Arpita bhabhi has cousin...jo muje milne aane wale hai" "sorry Shekhar..." "But please don't expect anything from me" "I am really sorry if I hurt your sentiments" Sanyukta stated her point

"Okay...I can understand" "But...tum muje aachi lagi ho" "I am ready to wait" "You can complete your post graduations...I can wait till then" Shekhar said

Sanyukta was speechless.

"Take your time to think" "I am not forcing you..but yes I like you" "Think about it..." Shekhar said 

"I would love to spend my life with you" Shekhar declared

Sanyukta was stunned.

"Take care" He said and left.

She got worried.

"Randhir..." was the only word that came from her mouth that time

Only his thoughts were revolving in her mind.

She rushed to her room and locked herself.
