Part 18 : You are lucky for me, Sanyukta...

Randhir reached Delhi

He boarded in a hotel

He googled the address of 'Delhi Medical College and Hospital' where Sanyukta do her internship

He found out the address and contact number.

He called admin dept. of college to get contact number of hostel.

"Hello..." came a loud and heavy voice

"Umm...aaa...I...want..." Randhir fumbled

"Speak fast...I don't have my time" the lady shouted

"Can I talk to Sanyukta Agrawal" Randhir said

"May I know whose this and from your calling?" the lady said

"I am her..her...umm...brother...calling from Jaipur" Randhir said

"Then call her on cell phone" "This is not STD PCO" "This is hostel's emergency phone number" e lady said

"Aap please usko bulayengi..." "Her phone is switched off...that's why I called on this number" Randhir sounded irritated

"Wait...I will have go up and call her" "Stay on line" the lady said

Randhir immediately disconnected the call

He just wanted to confirm that Sanyukta stays in same hostel

"Sanyukta...your brother's call on reception's number" the lady informed

"Bhai's call" "Why didn't he called me on my phone" She thought

"Okay coming..." she replied

She got down to received the call

"Hello..."

But no response came

"Hello...bhai"

Still no response

She hung up

She immediately called Ankit

"Ha...Sanyu" Ankit said

"Bhai did you call?" "Yaha on hostel's number" Sanyukta asked

"No...and why would I call you on that number" Ankit said

"Okay..." she replied confusingly

"What happened?" Ankit asked

"Nothing bhai...chalo rakhti hu"

Sanyukta disconnected the call

She thought for a while

"Randhir..." She mumbled

Her face welcomed a small smile.

Next day

"Happy Birthday..." Agrawal family wished Sanyukta over the phone

"Thank you..." She replied

"So wish tu yaha hoti..." Aryan said

"Next time..." Sanyukta replied

"Beta...take care" Kishore said

"Yes Papa..." Sanyukta's voice became low

"Thank you so much sir"

Randhir shake hand with one of the biggest pearl merchants/dealers of India

"I appreciate young talent like you..." "Youngsters should actually get into this business" merchant said

"Sir...I will prepare legal papers soon and will come back to you again" Randhir said

"Sure..no problem" "I am look forward to work with you" the merchant said

"Sanyukta you are lucky for me" Randhir thought

They day went like this

Soon it was evening

Randhir finally got some free time.

Sanyukta got back to hostel completely avoiding everyone

She wanted to spend the time alone.

She was sad.

She was upset.

Randhir forgot her birthday. Her heart broke.

She was expecting a message from him.

Is it too much to expect? She questioned herself

Her eyes became moist.

Randhir went to a florist shop.

"How May I help you sir?" came a sales person

"I want a best...flower bouquet" Randhir said

"Sure...roses,lilies,orchids,carnations" the person said

"Roses..." Randhir replied

"Red one..." he added

"Sure..."

Randhir bought a beautiful red roses bouquet for Sanyukta

"Any message?" the person asked

"Happy Birthday Sanyukta..."

He stopped

"& Sir..." the person asked him to continoue

"Happy Birthday & Sorry..." Randhir said

He then next went to cake shop

Bought a lovely cake for Sanyukta

"Delhi medical college" He told the cab driver

Soon he was on the way to her college

He was happy

He was excited

He was nervous

He was restless

He was going through mix emotions

The cab stopped at the main entrance

"College bandh hogaya hai sahab kal aayie" said security guard

"Nahi...muje kaam" "Muje Sanyukta se milna hai" Randhir said

"Sanyukta?" the guard threw a questionable look

"Aap hostel warden ko bulaye" Randhir said

Soon a fat lady came to meet Randhir

"Yes..." said the lady

"I want to meet Sanyukta Agrawal" Randhir said

"Did you called yesterday?" the lady asked

"Yes.." Randhir smiled

"You are her brother?" the lady asked

"Yes..." Randhir replied halfheartedly

"Sorry...you cannot meet her right now" "Meeting hours are over" "Come tomorrow" the lady said

"What?" "No..." Not tomorrow" "I want to meet her today" "Right now..." Randhir said

"No...sorry" "I cannot allow you" "Its against the rules" the lady said

"Ma'am..please I request you" "Please" "Today is her birthday" "I want to meet her" Randhir said

"See Mr...I told you No means No" the lady said

"I can't come tomorrow" "I am leaving today" "I have a train at 11PM" "Please...allow me" Randhir requested

The lady thought for a while

"Okay..." "Come..." She allowed him

"Its 8...only 1 hour I can allow you to meet her" the lady said

Randhir nodded in agreement

"You wait here in waiting longue...I will call her" the lady said and left
