Shizuo sits there for a few minutes, sobbing. After a while, he decides he needs to stop, and holds back the rest of his tears. He stands up and sighs. "Now, what do I do with him?" he says, a pained, frustrated look coming across his face.

"Oh, why don't you just toss me out the window?!" a male voice says from behind him, startling him and making him leap into the air. Shizuo recognizes the voice well, seeing as it's the voice he just made come to an end. It's the voice of the man he just killed. Shizuo turns around, but sees nothing. "Hahahaha" the man laughs "You can't see me! But, I can see you!" Shizuo takes a few steps backwards, then stops when he realizes he should have just tripped over the man's body. He looks to the floor where the body had been, but it wasn't there.

"I-it's gone?!" his head started to spin "W-wha?" He hears a dark chuckle in reply.

"It was never there in the first place, Shizuo." the voice says ominously.

Shizuo goes to sit on his bed and places his head in his hands. "What are you saying?"

The man laughs maniacally before saying "I'm not real. Well, this voice isn't. I'm still alive, and I never came to your apartment. Your little Izaya and I are all in your head! Hahahaha!"

"I'm hallucinating?" Shizuo says, shocked "Wait, then is Izaya still alive too?"

"No." he hears the raven say "I'm gone."

"Y-you're not really Izaya? I-I...." Shizuo feels tears forming, but he holds them back. He doesn't know what to do. "W-why are you here? Why can I hear you?"

"Because you want to" was the reply from both voices. Shizuo couldn't breathe. He wanted both voices to go away. Though, Izaya's a little less. He stood and paced the room for a few minutes, then it hit him. He went crazy when he heard about Izaya's death. He couldn't stand the pain, so he made Izaya come back to him. Now, he wanted it to end. He didn't want to be crazy, to be insane.

'Maybe sleep will help; take it all away' Shizuo thinks to himself. He crawls in bed, without getting undressed or turning off the light, and quickly drifts off to sleep. But before he is asleep, he hears the man whisper "Good luck with that!"
