I was at home often Eric said he needed time and honestly. I didn't blame him and honestly I didn't know what to think about this. It didn't make sense. Was Ronny not herself? Was it someone else pretending to be her and fooled everyone. And why did Tony do this?
I groan laying on my bed. All I had is more questions and less answers. That wasn't hopefully at all. All I felt was more lost than ever. Honestly wish I could back and time and just never went to the game. While in depressing thoughts, Shadow hopped on my bed and laid right next to me purring. Which honestly made me smile a little.
I petted him little lost as I looked at my plain white ceiling questing everything. I felt my phone buzzing next to me but didn't want to look at it. I just... everything seemed. Well I didn't know the word for it, maybe it was lost?
I heard knock on my door and didn't want to get up and open the door. I just said come in and started at the wall.
"Chase" asked my mom as if she wasn't sure who I was. I turned my head looked at her questioning face and looked back at the ceiling.
"What is wrong with you" she asked softly making me weirded out as if she wanted to know.
"Why" I asked not of course replying to the question. I just started at the wall and I knew I probably didn't look alright and I wasn't.
"You walked past Eric's mom. you didn't even say Hi you just headed to your room like a zombie did you do drugs or something" she asked her voice getting little higher. I rolled my eyes and sat up and looked at her.
"Mom, I have more important things to do right now...so if you just please go back to your guest " I said softly but my eyes narrowed.
She just gave me look and said she would talk to me later. Of course, I didn't reply. as the door slammed shut behind me. I opened my laptop forgetting about my phone and decided a little search of what happen to Ronny wouldn't be bad idea would it?
I typed her name and our city into the search bar and waited.
I guess there wasn't a lot of articles about it which I kind of found it weird. But from local news kind of was weird.
"Local Girl runaway. Parents are asking anyone for any information to come forward"
The article basically explained that Ronny was declared missing and they thought she was dead. They talked to their families and nobody reported about seeing her. What I didn't get is why anyone didn't tell her parents? It didn't make any sense I thought as I started at the article.
I could ask her friends about it. Maybe they would know any information. Looking online I remember one of her best friends from cheer. Hoping that she would shed on light on the subject I wanted to ask her questions.
Chase: Hey Diamond, you may not know me but I'm doing a paper on cheerleading for local newspaper. It's about Ronny the head cheerleader. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions?
I kind of hoped that would work. I mean we never talked and sure she didn't know who I was or ever met me so there was about 80 percent chance this could work. The waiting part was kind of annoying through. I found myself starting at my laptop as the minutes went by. But she finally replied.
Diamond: Newspaper? Aren't you the girl that Ronny hang out with or something? With Jay and Eric? Do you know where she is? She won't reply to any text... and cheer practice starts soon!
Chase: I don't know where she is and yes I am. I wish I could be more helpful but I don't know much about her. Maybe if you tell me stuff it will help. We are looking for her through. I hope she is okay.
