Transparent Nobody (NanoWriMo 2016)

Pain

                 I groaned as I felt someone poke me. Everything hurt for some odd reason. The last thing I remember was being in the room with Tony. He was being his usual annoying self and I was having hard time keeping calm. I didn't get why he wanted to talk to me there or what happen to another person. I wasn't at the school. I was in hospital bed confused and with a headache.

"Ouch" I mumbled blinking and trying to look around the white room. So far, I only saw whiteness and literally thought I was dead at that moment.

"Ah our hero returns" I heard Eric voice by my ear. I turned my head slowly and saw Eric sitting in one of the hospitals bed as my vision became clear. It was dark outside, I could see through the curtain behind him. I blinked at him for moment and rubbed my eyes again.

"So, before nurses come in, what happen" he asked in low voice. I bet my lip and looked at him before wincing in pain.

"Tony was there" I moved sitting up slowly even through it heart with every movement which I didn't get. I fainted, right? At least that's what I hope happened.

"What' he asked confused looking at me with eyebrow raised.

I sighed and took a breath before trying to explain as my pain felt like it was getting worse. Stupid Tony I thought rubbing my head and looked at the worried face of Eric.

"I was supposed to see the new person, that was in for the other one, Guidance consular" I closed my eyes in hopes that would make the pain less than what it is. I felt like screaming little but stayed quite as I needed to get this out before they would drug me with pain meds.

"And" he said after while sense I didn't talk but I didn't have time to tell him as Nurse came in. She saw that I was in pain and gave me some pain meds. She told me the Doctor would be here in hour or so and I should just close my eyes. She would wake me when she gets here.

"I better go, promise the others I will update them' he took my hand a squeezed it before leaving the room" I laid down back in rather comfy hospital bed. My eyes closed and the lights were dimmed. I must of fell asleep as moment I open my eyes again the doctor was there with nurse.

"Ah, Miss. Lux, you have a small head concussion" he explain before telling me I would be watched over night and leaving tomorrow morning. He said he called my family or something but I fell asleep because of the meds as he left before I could say anything back. I guess they gave me good pain meds. I really hope it wasn't Tony through..that this was real hospital but thoughts drifted away as I went into a deep sleep.

When woke up I asked if I wanted breakfast as the papers were getting ready and my mom would be here letter. I was to not alert to even ask if my mom was still at the thing. I had feeling I would see her much later. Through I couldn't explain what fully I felt I was just glad I wasn't in pain. I watched the boring tv program the nurse showed me how to use and there was knock on the door.

My mom came in as she ran up to me and hugged me. She had puffy eyes if shew as crying for long time and she didn't let go.

"I'm so sorry" she started out and hugged her back confused for moment but I got it. I hugged her tight and closed my eyes for moment. This was first time in long time that I got hug from my mom.

"Past is past mom, I'm just glad you are truly here" I meant it. I knew it was my mom. Like I knew it was her. I let her go so she could breathe and she looked at me with worried look on her face.

"Any pain" she asked looking at me making sure I was intact. I almost chuckled as this was the mom I was used too. The one who made sure everything was done.
