Transparent Nobody (NanoWriMo 2016)

Well That's Not Good

           

I pulled my coat closer as I stood up. He was coming closer and he seem to be rather happen. I took a breath and put on somewhat neutral face as I had the noises of him and Ronny stepping on the leaves. I looked up at them again and they smiled at me.

I put my hands in my pocket as I walked towards them. We met in the middle of the park. It was kind of like those old movies while they too opposing people meet in the middle of somewhere. And you know stuff is going down. I kind of hopped I wouldn't lose my powers but if it would help the others  I wouldn't mind to tell the truth.

"Well, today is the day when you give up and I finally win' he smirked at me. He was more than couple feet away from me but I felt like he could take away my powers at any time.

"Before you do that I at least get couple questions asked" I said quietly and quickly. My voice no more than a whisper. Ronny was annoyed at me crossing her arms and wanting to get this over with. Funny there was a time when I trusted her.

'Can we just get this over with' she mumbled and looked at Tony for any word. Tony didn't pay attention to her. He was looking at me and it was kind of creepy and unnerving but I thankfully kept my cool as he just started.

'Um" I started to say but he raised his hand as if he was stopping me from talking. But he didn't say anything for moment. I guess he wanted me to shut up or something. So I waited...and waited till couple minutes later.

'Well, that is interesting offer I have to say" he said slowly and a grin, a rather creepy grin grew.

"Deal" he went on and nodded at me.

"Are you kidding me' Ronny groaned and left the area well flew to tree and groaned about something.  Tony just rolled his eyes and looked at me waiting for question.

'So the dream I happened. It wasn't a dream of course but how in the world did you know" I asked carefully studying him

                He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms once again. He gave me are you kidding me right now look before speaking to me.

"you know you have more than one power right...you are powerful. And we need that" he shrugged and said the answer without any care in the world. As if he wasn't telling me his greatest secret. I gave him a weird look before thinking of another question.

"Come on she got a question now can we" Ronny whinnied swinging from the tree.

"What happen to you" I looked at Ronny. She was different person or maybe it was just a person she acted like. But they kidnapped her best friend or so I thought was her best friend.

Ronny open her mouth to speak but Tony raised his hand making her shut up. She glared at him and went back to swinging back and forth on one of the branches of the rather tall oak tree.

"Now, my young Chase we can't tell you all our secrets can we" said a voice behind me making me jump. I turned around scared of course but no one was there.

"What the" I started to say but Tony groaned.

"Seriously Boss" he huffed clearly annoyed at his boss who ever that was. I didn't know what the person looked like and I kind of wanted to know.

"Why not'  I yelled looking around me but seeing nobody but me, Ronny and Tony.

"Because it isn't time' his voice not loud but seem to becoming out over everywhere. It wasn't in my head of course because Ronny and Tony could hear him. His voice was commanding but calm. It was rather confusing and fighting at the same time. I couldn't help but shiver or trying to stop myself from running away. It's for Diamond I told myself to calm down and look at Tony to reply to more questions. Maybe not to personal but.
