"i can't believe you're leaving for band camp monday" i sigh

"i can't believe summer is almost over!"  josh says as he sits the closest to me as possible even though there's so much space on the couch.

"i can't believe you play trumpet and didn't tell me!"

"i'm pretty sure i've mentioned it before!" he laughs

"remember i would always complain about how we as a whole suck an we've never even qualified for band competitions that's how bad we are!"

"oh yeah it's coming back to me now" i laugh remembering josh ranting about it

"i can't believe we're going to be seniors!" he says

"i can't believe i won't be able to see you next week"

"i can't believe i have the most beautiful boyfriend!" he says putting is arms up in the air

"you're literally the cutest" i say connecting our lips

"let's do something today!" he says excitedly as he intertwines our hands.

"hmm like what?"

"hmm i dunno"

"lets go to the pool!"

"ooh! can we get ice cream after?!" he says like a little kid would.

"of course" i laugh at how adorable he is.

we ride our longboards to the pool.

josh thinks it would be a great idea to jump in the pool at the same time together.

i think it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen but i agree anyway.

"o-okay, how do we jump together?" i ask from one side of the pool.

"just jump towards me when i jump! i'll catch you!"

"what if something goes horribly wrong!?"

"live a little tyjo!"

"okay"

"ready?!"

"i guess"

"one, two, three, jump!" he shouts

i can't believe it worked and we didn't break any bones.

"that was so sick!" he shouts

"so sickk!" i shout

"i have another idea!"

"what is it?!"

"lets jump off the same diving board at the same time!"

"what?!"

"c'mon!"

i mean his last idea worked, so why not.

the diving board idea was definitely not a good idea.

i ended up slipping and falling into the water as soon as i tried stepping on the diving board.

everyone thought it was hilarious.

sigh.

we play water basketball with other people at the pool, enjoying our summer.

"i can't believe we got kick out of the pool!" i say in disbelief

"well i mean we almost did have sex in the showers" josh laughs

"exactly! ALMOST! meaning, we didn't!"

"tyler, you were moaning and there was a little kid in the shower next to us!"

"so? there's curtains it's not like he was going to see anything!"

"you're insane! c'mon, lets go get ice cream!" he says grabbing my hand

we get to the ice cream place and i get plain vanilla, with lots of toppings and josh gets oreo ice cream to which he adds oreo toppings.

he's such an idiot but i love him.

after ice cream josh and i go to my house to follow our night routine of cuddling and watching movies until we fall asleep .
