"Dad! Gabe took my phone!" I yelled from the couch in the living room.
I smirked at my twin as we heard, "Gabriel O'Brien! Give your sister her phone!"
Gabe threw my phone at me from the floor, where he was laying with his feet resting on the couch.
"Could you two be any cuter?" Holden, our older brother chirped sarcastically from the recliner.
I smiled sweetly at him. "Yep."
I kicked Gabe in the head and turned back to Holden, "Cute as two little buttons." I grinned cheekily.
Holden rolled his eyes and went back to his new toy; an iPad that he just opened, less than an hour ago.
I sighed at the mess of wrapping paper and boxes that are strewn all over the living room.
If you haven't guessed, it's Christmas morning.
Gabe and I unwrapped iPhones, and then matching blue and pink otter boxes.
Our Mom still hasn't gotten over the whole, because-they're-twins-and-also-opposite-genders-I-must-get-them-matching-things-in-blue-and-pink thing.
Our little brother, Connor, got a green otter box for his iPhone. He's ten months younger than Gabe and I.
You'd never guess that our Dad works for Apple.
"Spence, can I please get her number out of your phone?" Gabe begged.
I shook my head and went back to texting one of my nearest and dearest best friends, Dylan.
Gabe, Dylan and Spencer. The way it's always been. Only now, it's Gabe, Dylan, Holden and Connor.
I've always been a part of their talent show group, but not this year.
The boys decided they needed an all-boy group and they booted me out.
We heard the front door open and in walked Dylan, Mr. Cool.
"Hey guys." He said, frowning at the mess.
"Hey." I called from the couch, where I sat lazily with my laptop and new phone.
Dylan glanced at me, and then glanced back.
I guess Spandex and a sports bra aren't good pajamas.
"What are you wearing?" asked Dylan, sitting down, practically on top of me, to avoid Gabe's feet and Connor's legs.
"Comfy clothes." I shrugged.
"Comfortable for you, maybe, not for the rest of us." Gabe said.
Dylan looked at Gabe, "Hey, I'm enjoying it."
Gabe, Holden and Connor's eyes all shot to Dylan.
I waited for the death of one of my closest friends to occur.
"What did you say?" Gabe asked.
Dylan rolled his eyes, "I was joking, Gabe. Chill."
Gabe went back to his computer screen and Connor went back to his phone, but Holden's eyes remained on Dylan.
Caught in a death glare, Dylan squirmed uncomfortably.
I nudged him with my arm, "Look at this." I pointed at my screen and typed, Holden's going to murder you.
Dylan looked at me, grinning and grabbed the computer.
Trust me, I know.
I took it back.
