The Other Side started playing and Dylan's smiling face started talking.
"Hey Spence. You're probably wondering all this is about. And I'm about to tell you. But first, here's Gabe."
Dylan's face got smaller in it's box and Gabe's face appeared on screen in it's own box.
"Hey Spence. This is going to sound really weird, but there's no girls to take to winter formal this year. Here's Connor."
Dylan and Gabe's boxes got even smaller and Connor appeared in his own box.
"Hey Issy. Umm. This is really awkward. Here's Holden."
The first three boxes got even smaller, and all four boxes filled up my screen.
"Hey Issy. So here's the thing." said Holden with a huge smile, "There are no girls this year to take. And boys have taken their sisters to Winter Formal before. So us guys were thinking..."
Gabe spoke up again, "We were all wondering..."
"Umm." said Connor.
Dylan rolled his eyes, "We were wondering if you would let us four take you to Winter Formal."
My mouth dropped and my eyes unvoluntarily rolled.
"So what do you say?" asked Holden behind me.
I turned around and there was Gabe, Connor, Holden and Dylan, all holding flowers.
Standing up, I closed my laptop.
"You guys are idiots." I laughed, but hugged all of them.
"So? Will you go with us?" asked Connor.
"Yes." I grinned. "I'll go with my four idiots who are too scared to ask girls."

"Really?" I asked the next morning when I woke up to four smiling faces above my head. "I know that I'm doing you a favor by going to the dance with you friendless, girlfriendless lame-o's, but really? Stand above me as I sleep whydontcha." I pushed the covers off and rolled off the bed.
"Okay." Connor chirped.
"What do you guys want?" I asked, getting tired of the fake crap.
"Um." said Connor.
"You guys are such babies. Get out of my room." I said, pushing Gabe and Holden towards the door.
"We want you to go with us to the mall." Connor whined.
I raised my eyebrows, "Go to the mall yourselves. I have girly things to do on this day."
Gabe raised his eyebrows,"Girlier things than going to the mall?"
I cocked my head, "You're saying that going to the mall is girly... but you want to go?" I put a hand on my hip, "So... You're saying you're girly."
Gabe shook his head, "Nuh uh."
"Then go to the mall yourself and leave me alone!" I yelled, giving him one last shove and slamming the door.
I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and dialed one of my girl friends. Despit my brothers, I did have a couple.
"Hey Spence. What's up?" Riley answered right away.
"I got asked to the dance," I coughed a little, "And I was wondering if you wanted to go dress shopping with me."
"Who asked you?"
"Um. Well, actually, my brothers and Dylan Palmer are taking me."
Riley was silent on the other end.
