The next morning I had ten missed calls and twenty-three texts.

Three from Riley, seven from Dakota, two from Dylan, and the rest were from Jayden.

I needed to make things clear with him.

I inched my way out of bed, past the three sleeping guys --Holden, Gabe and Connor-- who were still wearing their tuxs from last night.

I dialed Jayden and put my phone up to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hi. We need to talk."

"Yes. We do."

"Want to meet at Iced in an hour?"

"Yes."

"See you then."

Iced is a daintly little coffee/pastry shop in downtown. I make it a habit to go there twice a week.

"Boys." I said, "Wake up."

Holden groaned and rolled over.

"Wake up."

They didn't.

I stood up on my bed and pushed Holden and Gabe off with much difficulty.

They glared up at me from the floor.

"Connor. Wake up." I said, turning to my little brother.

Connor sat up and slid off the end of the bed.

"Now get out." I said, trying to push them.

They all left, Gabe running his hand through his messed-up hair.

I ran to my closet and selected a pair of light skinny jeans with white polka dots, a navy blue sweater that said 'LOVE' in flower print, and my pink ombre TOM's.

Since I'm such an amazing multitasker, I curled my hair and applied my makeup at the same time.

Light make-up is my thing. But even light make-up isn't all that light.

Concealer, Foundation, Highlight, Blush, finishing powder, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.

"Done." I exclaimed excitedly.

I checked my phone, "Shit."

I burst out of my bedroom with my black and white, flower/polka dot bag over my shoulder.

"Going somewhere Spence?" asked Mom as I made it to the front door.

"Uh, Yeah." I said, "I'm meeting someone at Iced."

"But you're grounded."

"What?" I said, "Since when?"

"Since last night."

"What did I do?" I demanded.

"You were drinking last night."

"I was not." I said, stunned.

"Then why did I find a half empty vodka bottle in your bag?"

I was speechless.

And then I remembered.

"I was framed, Mom."

"You were not." Mom snorted, "You're grounded, and that is that. Your father and I are leaving today for his business trip, and I expect you to continue the endurance of your grounding until the week after we get back."

"But you guys are going to be gone for two weeks!" I shrieked, "I'm not going to be grounded for three weeks for not drinking, when Dad lets the boys drink at home and they don't get in trouble."

"Spencer Marie you will be grounded. Now be quiet."

I threw my keys on the ground in front of her and ran up the stairs to my bedroom, slamming the door as loud as I could.

"What's wrong?" Holden appeared in the doorway.

I slammed the door in his face and locked it.

"This is stupid." I said out loud.

I let out a frustrated scream and kicked my wall.

I sprawled out on my Queen bed and screamed into my pillow.

"Throwing a temper tantrum is not helping Mom's sympathy grow." Gabe said through the door.

"I'm not throwing a fucking temper tantrum!" I scream at the door.

"She's totally throwing a fit." said Gabe, but it was muffled, like he turned away from the door.

"You're an idiot, Gabriel." I yelled.

"Am I an idiot?" asked Dylan through the door.

"When did you get here, jerk?" I asked, smirking at the door.

"Hey! If my ego weren't so big that would've hurt."

"I've heard that one before, Dylan." I rolled my eyes and jerked the door open, "Where's everyone else?"

"Well, they have their own problems. So they gave up."

"But you didn't?" I cocked an eyebrow.

"I'll never give up on you, Spence." said Dylan with a teasing grin on his face.

I couldn't help but feel that his words meant more than he let on.

"Come in." I said.

Dylan sat in my desk chair, and I sat on the edge of my bed so that we were facing each other.

"Okay. So what's up." asked Dylan.

"Jayden is such an idiot." I pushed a curl out of my face, "I'd just told him on thursday that I like..." I trailed off, having momentarily forgotten.

"Who do you like, Spence?" Dylan asked, smiling.

"No one, really."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive."

"Well, an inside source told me you like someone."

"I have no crushes." I said, smirking, leaning forward.

"I think you do."

"I know I don't."

"You know I know you do."

"I think you don't."

"Wait," Dylan leans forward, "I'm confused."

"Me too. What were we talking about?" I pause, "Well it doesn't matter."

"I think you're trying to change this subject."

"What subject?" I said innocently.

"You know, the one where you admit that you like me and we kiss and then I ask you to be my girlfriend." said Dylan, looking at the ground.

"You want me to be your girlfriend?" I gasped.
