I leaned towards the mirror and puckered my lips as I applied the red lipstick.
"Looking fine, Miss O'Brien." Dakota teased as she changed her bra and pulled up her dress.
"And what about you?" I joked back, pointing to her low-cut, slim, curve fitted, black and gold dress, "You can definitely tell you have boobs with that."
"How do I look?" Riley asked, twirling.
"Hottie." I said.
Riley had chosen to go slightly more subtle than Dakota and I.
Her dress was a black strapless, but it wasn't too low cut and it had no triangular holes in it like mine.
I finished my make-up and started changing into my dress.
"Spence, when you're done we need to take the curlers out of your hair." said Dakota, rummaging in her suitcase for something.
"Okay." I tugged on the front of it.
"How do I look?" I asked.
"Sexy." Dakota said seriously, "But not as sexy as me." She grinned.
"Who's even your date?" I asked curiously.
"I have no date. But I'm counting on one of the O'Brien boys.... You can't dance with all four guys at the same time."
"But you don't want Dylan?" I asked.
"Hell no. Everybody know's he's pretty much taken."
"What?" I asked.
"If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you." Dakota held up her hands.
"So which of my brothers do you have your eye on?" I asked teasingly.
"Either Holden or Connor. Gabe's too... I don't even know. He's just creepy."
I laughed, "No kidding."
"It could be that you're his twin and that would just be weird. But he is hot... I just think it would be weird."
"Okay."
Dakota started gently tugging the blue foam curlers out of my hair.
Riley whistled from where she was braiding her hair across the room.
"Those are some pretty curls."
Dakota finished pulling the thirty-two curlers off my head and instructed me to lean forward.
She mussed them gently and I sat up.
"Wow." I whispered when Dakota handed me a mirror
Gorgeous curls cascaded down my back in perfect spirals.
"Hottie..." Dakota coughed.
I laughed. "Okay, we have forty-five minutes before the guys get here. We need to hurry."
"Are we all riding together?" Riley asked.
"I think so..." said Dakota when we both looked at her.
"But Travis and Fulton aren't exactly friends of my brothers." I said, "No offense. But my brothers have nearly zero friends outside of Dylan, and their singing groupies."
"Trust me," Dakota held up a manicured hand, "I know. I've tried to get my brother into their group," She paused and shot us a sheepish smile, "For my own personal benefits, but it didn't work."
Riley slapped a hand over her mouth and I laughed so hard that I snorted.
"Not very lady like." said Dakota, pointing a finger at me.
