Two weeks, three hours and fifty one minutes. The exact amount of time since Kaname had come back. Yuki was locked up in her room, not doing anything. She was nothing but an empty shell of her old self. Her blank stare was directed at two objects laying in her hands, her wedding ring and the rose that Kaname had given her. Her eyes were empty, soulless and her face looked pale and unbelievably thin. She hadn't had blood for at least a month. Her room was completely clean like usual but she hadn't moved from her spot on the floor, completely still.

Yori and Kaito had stayed with her the whole time, she needed them.

"I can't stand this" Kaito complained. "she needs to come out" he kicked at her door, knocking it down quickly.

Yori gasped at her friend's blank state. She stepped towards her and stuck out her wrist.

"Drink. You need it" she said firmly. She knew what it meant for Yuki to bite her. Kaito looked surprised but said nothing. Yori persisted with no success. She turned to her husband.

"What do I do Kaito?" she pleaded with him. He thought for a moment.

"I've got an idea, but it might not work" he ran a hand through his sandy hair. "It might be our only hope"

Kaname was worried about Yuki. She hadn't left her house for what must have been weeks. The only ones that did were the two newlywed Takamiyas. He transformed himself, flying up to her window. God, was she alive? Something was definitely wrong. Yuki was like a doll, super skinny, porcelain skin. Unmoving. She looked sick, empty, nothing. This was his fault, he had to do something. Suddenly he heard talking and felt Kiryu-kun's presence. Him and the hunter walked into the house. Well, his plan would have to wait.

Zero took one look at her and freaked out.

"Is this what has become of you?" he picked her up and placed her on the bed. She didn't even notice. He took his nail and made a vertical incision in his wrist. Drops of blood pooled and he placed his wrist to her mouth. When he was sure she had swallowed enough he pulled away, pain in his eyes. Was this because of him? Her eyes closed and she fell into a slumber.

As soon as Kiryu and Kaito left the house Kaname ran up to the door. Yuki's friend opened the door, completely unsurprised. She obviously wasn't weirded out by seeing him.

"What are you doing here?" she asked suspiciously.

"Please. I need to see her." god he hated begging.

"No! It's your fault she's like this"

"then let me fix what I messed up" she thought about it.

"Fine, but you only have two minutes. I'm counting"

He rushed upstairs to her room. She was asleep, that was better. He stepped beside her and sat down on the bed. He pushed her bangs off her face. He could imagine her kind caring eyes hidden behind her long lashes. Her face had gained a little colour since earlier but she obviously needed more blood. He unlike Zero brought his wrist to his mouth and bit it. He held the blood in his mouth as he softly kissed her. He could feel the energy flow into her body again. He lingered at her side, observing and then quickly left the house. He uttered a quick thanks to Yori as he left.
