It rained on the day of Zero's funeral. Everyone was huddled around Ichiru's grave for the service. Even though vampires didn't have bodies, Yuki wanted to have a service for him. He had wished to be human every day of his life.

Anyways, Zero wasn't the crystal fragments left in his prison. No Zero was here with his twin forever. She didn't let herself cry, Zero wanted her to be happy so she would. Yori and Kaito didn't make it to the funeral but everyone else who had known Zero was there. Zero's old mentor Toga Yagari even looked pretty sad, well that was understandable. He had known Zero and Ichiru since they were infants. It wasn't much, there wasn't even a priest. Just silence, a way to remember him.

As Yuki left the graveyard she felt herself being pulled into an embrace. She looked up into Kaname's wine coloured eyes. She pushed away from him.

"It's too soon. I feel like its unfair to him you know? Moving on as soon as he's gone... I'm not going to do that, I'm sorry..." she just left, not bearing to look at him. It hurt her to leave but it wasn't fair. Even though Kaname had suffered alone she had to stay away.

Yuki woke up screaming. It had been a week since Zero's funeral and every time she closed her eyes she had a nightmare. But when she woke she always forgot. It scared her, not remembering what had happened in her dreams. She groggily sat up. She wished Yori was there with her, but unfortunately she would still be gone for another two weeks. Ughh! She couldn't stop thinking about them, either of them. She couldn't stop the guilt that pulled her under the surface.

" Zero.... I'm sorry" he wanted her to be happy but she couldn't. Not after what she'd done to him. Even with his problems he was still a kind and caring person. Even if he didn't show it.
