The door was left wide open but no sound came from the house. Yori walked into the room to see Yuki's body lying twisted on the ground Zero crouched beside it.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" Guilt showed on his handsome face. Kaito walked up behind his friend.

" Zero... I have no choice, I have to detain you" he didn't want to do this.

"I know. Take me before she wakes up"

"No! No don't take him" Yuki sat up then collapsed onto the floor.

"Zero, I dont want you to die" she whispered. " I love you..."

Kaito stepped beside her.

"You know I don't have a choice, I'll do everything I can" she nodded reluctantly.

As she stood up she almost immediately wobbled over, so Zero took her up to her to rest. Her wounds were certainly not minor but this was the best he could do for her now.

-----------

Who was he? Where was he? Darkness clouded his mind, he couldn't remember himself. He was cold, freezing and something was digging into his skin. The only thing that kept him going was her...

--------------

Yori looked down at her friend, she looked so fragile. Despite the injuries covering her body she looked almost peaceful. She hoped that Yuki would wake up soon but at the same time she knew that she would want to see Zero. Well she seemed better already and colour had returned to her cheeks.

----------------------------------

Kaito thought as he sipped his coffee. Vampire, such troublesome beings.

"Vampires, beasts in human form that drink the blood from living humans. You must never get close to a vampire for they might just devour you. Do not trust them."

Even though Zero was his friend he was just that, a vampire. Yuki on the other hand, merely a lion cub, a baby vampire she couldn't do anything yet. And Yori and her got along so well, he would support their friendship untill he was proved wrong.
