Zero! He was there, standing at her door. His face was blank, expressionless. But he couldn't be there, right? Yuki stood up and walked towards him. He looked so real. She stuck her hand out, it didn't pass through him.

Zero!" she yelled happily as she hugged him. "You're alive!" his face stayed the same. She felt something warm on her fingers. " Zero?" she pulled back. Blood... It had started seeping out from Zero's chest. It flowed heavily, staining his clothes. Before long it made its way to the floor, creeping up the walls. It covered the whole room. Suddenly, the bloody rose gun was in Yuki's hand, she held it pointed at Zero.

"No!" she yelled and dropped it onto the floor. The second it touched the ground, Zero toppled over into the pool of blood.

"No! Zero" she knelt beside him trying to hold the wound closed.

"Please Zero..." the blood only flowed harder, covering her as well.

"Help! Somebody!" she pressed down harder but it did nothing. She waited and waited but nobody came. She could hear Zero's heartbeat slowing. He was leaving her again. Why?

"Somebody!" she stood up, horrified at the scene before her. She felt strong arms wrap around her. Kaname! She turned back to her room. Zero's body was gone but there was still blood on the floor and all over her.

"Yuki..." he whispered. "Why did you do this to yourself" she curled into his chest.

"Zero..."

Kaname moved back so she could see her arms.

"Why would you hurt yourself?" she observed her arms. Scratches... She had done this? Her breathing quickened.

"Yuki... It's okay" he pulled her close again and started healing her. The wounds closed but the blood was still there.

"Stay there, I'll be right back" he ran into the bathroom grabbing a cloth, running it under the tap. He came back out and started cleaning up her neck and arms, gently. When he was finished he disintegrated the blood on the floor. He held her as she silently sobbed into his shirt.

"He's gone now Yuki, I know it hurts but you have to move on"

-------------

When Yuki woke she found herself still curled in Kaname's arms. He hadn't left! She shifted closer to him affectionately then she remembered last night's events. Zero! She blinked back tears, keeping herself from falling apart. Kaname was looking at her. His eyes worried but lonely, so lonely. Yuki stood up and walked back.

"Thank you..." she looked at him.

"But you don't need to stay... I'm sorry you had to come by in the first place" she looked at the floor.

"I'm not" His gaze was directed at her. "Why would I be sorry that I helped you. Even if you don't want me, I'm here for you. You are still the most important thing in the world."

She felt bad asking but...

"Then why did you leave in the first place? I'm not ungrateful, I told myself that I would be strong but why?" she hadn't meant for it to sound accusing.

"I think I was convinced I would win.... But somehow I still got caught. I was convinced it would be better for the both of us, if I got my plan to work out. Because you do know Yuki? I'm sorry but I'm not a good vampire. My history hasn't allowed me. I wished so much just to be your real brother but, I guess the Kurans are cursed. Cursed to be torn from love and it all started with me" he seemed lost in thought. "but I'm not leaving, I know it isn't good to go against your will but I'm not leaving you all by yourself, just in case."

"Fine but I'm perfectly ok" she walked out, trying to walk tall but instead stumbling out. Kaname followed her out.

---------------

"Takai" someone whispered in her ear.Yuki knew she had to ignore the voice!

"Aka.... Chi" Not blood, not blood. It wasn't real... Yet it felt real.

"Takai... Bampai"

"Go away!" she squeezed her eyes shut. It wasn't real, it wasn't real.

"Takai" the voice came back again. "Chi"

"Stop!" she screamed out. She refused to open her eyes, she knew what gory scene she would see.

"Yuki... You killed me... How could you?" this was going too far.

"I'm sorry Zero..." she shook her head. "I'm sorry..."

--------------------

Kaname cringed as he entered Yuki's house. Blood... He ran upstairs to find the same sight as he had every night. Yuki, sitting on the floor. Scratches covering her arms. Her eyes were clutched closed. He suddenly felt angry. Why wouldn't she just take his blood? It would make it all stop. He made a cut in his wrist.

"Yuki... I need you to take it" he literally had to force her. Why did it have to be like this? Why couldn't she move on?

I know this chapter was heavy, like really heavy

Ok so I don't know when I'll upload next. In my drafts of this story which I unfortunately lost it was not like this. Happier I guess... So the point is that I need to take some time to figure out what's coming next so please bear with me.

So to those who wondered why I wrote some word in Japanese. Personally I think they sound cooler bit here are the translations.
