Rewind. I want to be stuck in a better time.

//Phil

I'm not always focusing on the bad memories we had. I can remember when we were good too.

Can you look back far enough to our sixth date? We were already a couple, but I loved to take you out. You wanted Japanese, so I took you to a Japanese restaurant. Everyone was dressed like anime characters, and this one waiter would come out every hour, and throw sushi at people. It wasn't the most traditional Japanese restaurant, but it was so much fun.

"So then Angie was telling me-"

"LOOK OUT FOR THE SUSHI!" A Japanese man called, dressed as Naruto.

"Wha-"

Just then, a weird seaweed thing hit you right in the face, and I laughed like crazy at your surprised expression. You gave me a look like you wanted to kill that Japanese guy, but you were laughing too.

"Aw, you look so cute with raw fish in your hair," I say.

"Shut up," you reply, as you pull some out of your curly brown locks, and throw it at me.

I laugh harder, and then you say, "You're so much cuter than me when you laugh. It's such an amazing thing to see."

You never said things like that to me. Ever. You always had to be the cute one, and the funny one, and everyone's favorite. You never really ever told me what you thought of my appearance unless it was ugly, or it was that I was hot.

I couldn't help but blush, and tell you to shut up.

That night we went outside behind the Japanese place where there were fairy lights, and some people eating peacefully on a gigantic deck. To our surprise, there was also a cute bridge over a little creek, and it was absolutely beautiful under the moonlight.

We walked out there holding hands, and admired the stars like we always do, and I swear that whole night introduced me to a new kind of beauty. You, and how you blend in so well with the pretty looks of nature.

"I think I'm going to love you forever," I whisper.

I'm so young, and I don't know what I'm saying. Yet, would I take this night back?

You smile, and kiss me under the pale moon, "That's a nice thought," you say.

No, I'd never take this moment back.

But then you frown, and your eyes twinkle. I ask you what's wrong, and you sigh looking out over the water, "Is there an end to forever?"

I never do answer. To this day, I still don't know.
