She was glass
Fragile
Invisible
Delicate
He didn't want to shatter her
He was fire
Raging
Red-hot
Dominant
He found her in the middle of chaos
Sitting there
Quite
Unmoving
She couldn't save herself
So he saved her
He didn't want to shatter her
So he melted her
Slowly.
She collapsed
Down
Down
Down
But she was a puddle
She didn't shatter
He saved her.
And then
He was gone
Vanished
Disappeared
Leaving behind
Smoke and ash
They destroyed him
They hated him
But they didn't know
They destroyed her too
Because she wasn't melted no more
She turned back
To fragile glass
And she collapsed
Down
Down
Down
And she shattered.
