She doesn't understand.
You don't try to make her understand.
You both are so stubborn.
Her jokes make you mad.
You think they're insulting.
She doesn't understand.
You wish she would at least try.
Her compliments sound so offending.
You always find a method
To think of her ways as bad.
You don't seem to consider
That maybe that's just her nature.
You two are polar opposites.
She makes you so angry inside
That all you want to do is throw fits
They say it's just a teenage thing.
'Your mother is your biggest enemy,'
They joke.
Try to understand.
But understanding is a test
That I'm not prepared to take
Because what if it turns into a quest?
One that I'll never finish.
