As soon as Sargent Gordon turned her back,I turned and bolted into the burning building.
I run up the stairs to my apartment,I burst through the door in search of somethings special. Sure enough,I find it where I left it. But the seed,is no longer a seed,it's a beautiful fire lily. I smile and go over, grabbing the mug I put it in,I make a dash for the door and a wall of flames rises up in front of it. I try to use but they don't work. I groan,"This is going to kill."I whisper as I run through the flames. I felt nothing, not even the slightest tingle. I shrugged it off and made my way toward the back entrance of the building. Don't want Sargent Bat-Brat catching me. (Before you go,'wait she knows about the whole Barbara is Batgirl thing'. Not many people in Gotham have red hair)
As soon as I'm out,I make a run for Sel's house.
I bash on the door until she answered. When she didn't answer I fell to my knees, coughing. I was short on breath,I couldn't get air into my lungs. The split second I remembered she wasn't there anymore,it was too late. Everything went black,I remember hearing the small pot with the flower in it smash on the ground.
Hayley's POV
I really miss everyone,Red is dead. Her daughter is dead on my part. Katherine is dead on account of Snowflake. Kitty's the only one left. Who knows who's in control over Olive. She could be Olive one second and Ellie the next. She really takes after Joker. How could all of this happen because of one little mess up with my sister?
I walk around trying to remember where Kitty lives, then I remember that she married Bruce Wayne. Who would've thought,a villain and a hero getting together? Anyway,I make my way toward the prettier bit off town. I make my way toward the Wayne Manor. When the gates come into view,I run towards them. I stop when I get to them and try to pull them open,'of course they're computer locked'I thought. I noticed the intercom,I quickly pressed a button.
"State your business at the Wayne Manor."a male voice came out of the speaker.
"Uh,I am here to see Miss Kyle-Wayne."I answered.
"Please wait a few minutes."the voice said and everything went silent.
After a few minutes the gates opened.
"You may proceed."the voice said.
I sighed with relief and made my way towards the door,as soon as I got there Kitty opened it and I threw my arms around her. "I missed you Kitty,I really did."I said. Kitty looked down at me,"Hayley, what on earth are you going on about?"she asked. I stepped back,"Oh right."I said remembering that I had changed a lot. "Selena listen,I need to know if you've seen Olive."I said. "No not since the funeral. Why?"Kitty asked. "Because she has powers and if she ran into her old apartment which that psychotic clown set on fire, she could be dead."I said. Kitty's eyes widened,"Bruce. Make sure Ronin doesn't get into trouble. Take him with you or something. Something important just came up."she called. "Selena what could possibly be more important then spending time with Roni-"he asked walking to the door but stopped when he saw me. "But that's impossible, you're dead."He said.
"Uh. No. I'm very much alive and very much Harley's twin sister."I said, biting my lip. "Bruce this is Hayley. Hayley Bruce."Kitty said. "Selena we have to hurry. I don't want her to die too."I said. "Bye Bruce."Selena said and we walked back down the driveway. "You don't have a ride do you Hayley?"Selena asked and I shook my head no. "Okay we'll take mine then."she said walking to the side and pulling a black motorbike out of the bushes. "Cool!"I exclaimed as she hopped on. "Quickly."she said. I hopped on behind her.
