Joe was shocked at what he saw. It was a woman, the way the man treated her. Joe's blood boiled. Joe, got mad as he saw what he did next. The guy grabbed the woman and yanked her up. She nearly fell again. Joe got out of the car. He was shocked at what happened next. The man shoved the bag at the woman, she almost fell again. He could that she was scared. He could see her body shaking. The man slapped her across the face. Joe ran toward the two people. "HEY" He yelled, as the guy turned. "I don't know who you are. But, I do know that you need to leave the woman alone."Joe said, Demi took a deep breath in. She realized that she knew that voice. She would never forget that voice ever. When she was in high school, she thought he had the most sexy voice she ever head. Her heart raced even more. She looked up at him, as he looked at her at the same time.

Joe took a deep breath in, as he saw the woman. She had tears on her face, she looked the same as she did in high school. He could never forget her face. She still had a beautiful face, now. He didn't like what he did to her in high school. Dread washed over him, as memories came flooding back at him what he did and said to her. Her eyes looked exactly like that, when his friends and him picked on her in school. He could see pain and hurt in her beautiful eyes. "This is none of your business." The man said. He looked at Demi again. He saw her stomach. She was pregnant. Anger built in him again, at how this man was treating and the unborn baby.  He could see a plea for help in her eyes. "It is my business, as soon as you hit her. I know one thing and that is how to treat someone. At one time, I was just like you. You're an ass. You don't hit a woman ever, that is just so wrong. Now, you just leave. If you don't I will call the cops. Also, you should know that I am Training to become a cop. So you better watch your next move. I'm sure the cops would love to see, what you have done to her. I can see clearly, that you have been using her as a punching bag. Now, you just turn around and walk a way back to your house. You clearly don't even care for her. Leave, before you make me do some that I will regret." Joe said. Demi's eyes went wide as he spoke. She took a shaky breath in.

The guy looked at Joe. Joe walked closer to him. The guy looked Joe up and down. He let out a sigh. Then he turned to look at Demi. "Leave, don't you ever come back. You are not worth any thing. I don't want to ever see you or that thing that you are carrying." He spat out, then he walked off. Demi took a deep breath in."Are you okay?" Joe asked, as the both looked over toward the little white house. The front door slammed shut. "Yes, thanks."She said, in a low voice. She adjusted her bag and put it on her shoulder. He saw her wince. "Are you sure you are okay, Demi?" He asked, with concern in his voice. She looked at him, with wide eyes. She saw genuine concern, in his eyes, he meant it. She gave him a small smile. She looked down at the ground.

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Then she looked back at him. "I'm good now. Thanks again, Joe. It was good of you to stop. I didn't think that you would remember me. I gotta go." She said, she turned to walk away from him. "Wait, please." He said, as she turned around to look at him. "Um, a..a do you need a ride some where?" He asked, as she shook he head no. He raised, an eyebrow at her. "Oh, Crap." She said, as he took a step toward her. He, looked at her closely. She sound like she was gonna panic. "What?" He asked. "My water just broke." She said, in a shaky voice. "Oh, so do you need the number of a plumber. I could give you a number of a great one. He doesn't over charge either." Joe said, as she shot him a glare."What's with the glare? I was just trying to help, you out Demi." She groaned. "I don't need a plumber, you idot. A plumber is the last thing that I need now." She said, as she winced. She dropped her bag on the ground. She placed her hand over her stomach.

Joe gasped, as his eyes went wide."Oh, you mean your water broke and the baby is coming." He said. "Yes, captain obvious. That is what I just said. I gotta go now. Thanks, again." She said, as bent down to get her bag. She turn away from him."Whoa, where the hell are you going?" Joe asked. She stopped and looked at him."Where do you think? The hospital, you idiot."Demi said. "Gee, you don't have to get so mean. Were you always like this. What happened you were never this outspoken." She shot him a glare, then she began to walk away from him.
