Joe knocked on the door. "Come in." He heard her say. He opened the door. Demi looked at him with a tired smile. She was sitting up in the bed, and she held the little bundle. Tears came to her eyes. Joe had, been gone for a few hours. He looked, good she thought. He had on a fresh change of clothes on. He was carrying a balloon, that said it's a girl and flowers and a gift bag. "Hey, Dem. How are you?" He asked as he sat down. "I'm good, just really tired, but too excited to sleep. I see that you are still up."She said. He just smiled, he set down the gift on the bed side stand. "Yeah, I can't sleep either. I wanted to come see you again. I couldn't stay away too long. Plus I have something for your baby. It's not much. I'm a guy you know, so it might not be that great. He said."You go her something let me see. Do, You want to hold her? While I open the gift." She asked.

Joe raised an eyebrow at her. "I promise she won't bite you, and no you won't break her either." Demi said, Joe stood up, as he nodded his head. "Okay, this will be the first baby that I've ever held. So tell, me what to do."He said. She smiled at him, his heart beat fast. She had the most amazing smile and beautiful eyes he ever saw. Demi showed him and he sat down. Demi gasped as she looked at the gift. Tears came to her eyes. "I'm sorry, Dems is it that bad."Joe asked. Demi shook her head. "N...no, no. It's the most nicest present ever. It was so very thoughtful of you. Thanks, Joe you are the best man, ever."Demi said, as she looked at him holding the baby. She smiled again. "What's with the beautiful smile gorgeous? Oh, have you thought of a name for her?" He asked, He saw her blush, then he looked at the baby. Who was sleeping in his arms. He bent down and kissed her softly on the forehead.

"Just where have you been hiding Joe. I really do love this Joe." She said, as she slapped her hand over her mouth. "I....I mean.. I don't know what I mean." Joe, looked at her with a serious face. "Well, what would you say if I loved you too? I know this is so crazy. I do know how I feel. I've never felt like this. You make me smile, for no reason at all. I tried to go home & rest. I couldn't, I was thinking of you & your beautiful face. I couldn't stop thinking about her too. You make my heart skip a beat. I want to be with you. I know that this might be so fast & sudden. I know it's crazy, I've loved you even in High School. I was just so scared to make a move. Ashley, found out that's why she picked on you so much. I'm sorry, if this is scaring you. I just wanted to be honest with you."He said. She looked down at her hand, then back at him.

"Well, first off, her name is Josephine Adamina Lovato." She said, with a giggle as his eyes went wide. "I, named her after you. Both her names are the female forms of your names." She said, as she waited for his reaction. He just sat there stunned for a few moment, a smile Spread across his face. He looked down at the sleeping baby. Then he looked up at her, he had tears in eyes. "Wow, you did. I'm so very honoured. You know she is beautiful, just like her mom. She has your cute little chin, she has your wonderful brown eyes. I also bet that when, she gets older she will have your laugh. I heard, you laugh a few times in high school. I love your laugh." He said. "Joe...I... to be honest. I think that I have always loved you too. I know you didn't treat me well and I forgive you. Everyone makes mistakes. " She said.

"I'm thankful, that you forgave me."He said. "Joe, I want to be honest. Joe...I'm scared. I do, love you. I can't explain it. I'm just afraid, that if you ever left me & didn't love back, it would break me. You've hurt me before. Joe if you ever hurt me like you have in the past. I think that it would break me  more than what Wilmer did to me."She said, some tears came to her eyes. He looked at her, he took her hand in his. "Dems, I love you to so much, so that I can't explain it either. I promise you that if you give me a chance, I won't let you down. I will make you feel, worthy, beautiful & you won't be alone. You know that, this little girl here she has my heart too. I love her just as much as you." He said, tears came to his eyes. "Joe, I will give us a chance." She said. "You & Joey are coming to live with me."He said, she smiled. "Okay, just til, I find a place for her & I to live." She said. He stood up, as she looked at him. He leaned down & kissed her softly on the lips. Sparks flew, she sighed into the kiss. He pulled back moments later. She smiled, at him. "You're gonna, live with me for the next 50 years or more. I'm not gonna let you go. I promise to love you forever."He said. She pulled him back down & kissed him again. "You better, I love you Joseph Jonas, forever."She said. "I love you to forever baby. Also our Little angel here Joey.  You know, watching her be born. That was amazing, life it really is Beautiful." She smiled up at him.

 She could see nothing but love in his eyes as he looked at her. So much that it took her breath away. She smiled at him, as he leaned down and kissed the sleeping baby in his arms. She moved over so that he could sit with her. She didn't even have to ask him, she held out her arms for the baby. He placed the baby in her arms. At the moment, she knew that she wouldn't be alone. She loved him, more than words could say. He sat next to her, and wrapped an arm around her. 20, minutes, later a nurse came in to find them all fast asleep on the bed. She carefully moved the sleeping baby to her baby bed, that was next to Demi's bed. Demi sighed and moved as she felt her were empty. She opened her eyes, then Joe woke up as he felt her move. "It's okay Mrs. Lovato, I was just putting your baby back in her crib. Go back to sleep, I will be back later to check on her and you. "She said. Demi nodded her head, as she looked at Joe, he had a sleepy shy smile on his face. Her tummy fluttered, as she smiled back at him. He pulled her close to his side, as she laid her head on his shoulder. This was her home, she sighed as the world went dark to her. She felt a soft kiss on her head, she smiled as her body gave up. She moved her arm across his body. His other hand found her's, as they both drifted off.
