Demi blinked as her eyes adjusted to the dark Kitchen. She had fallen asleep crying. It was now a few hours later. Demi some how managed to get up, off the floor. It wasn't easy, but she got up. She winced in pain as she stood up. She placed her hand on her stomach. A small smile curved her lips. The baby was kicking her, tears welled up in her eyes. She knew that she had to get away from him. She didn't want this to happen to her baby. She slowed walked past the living room. He was passed out on the couch, the tv was on. She walked toward their room. The room looked like a tornado went through it. She went to the closet and found a bag. She began to pick up her clothes that were all over the floor. She began to shove them in the bag. She grabbed her phone off of the floor and took the charger, that was in the outlet. She picked up her purse and put the stuff back in it. She checked to see that everything was in it, that she would need.
She left the room as it was. She wasn't gonna miss this room at all. It held bad memories, that she just as soon as forget. She left all of the things that he had given her. The only thing that she was taking that was his, the baby that she carried. The baby was apart of her and him. Even though he was an ass to her. The baby, was the one thing at the moment that she wanted the most. Someone who would make her feel loved, no matter what. She grabbed her bag and her purse and walk to the living room. She took a look at her phone to, see that it was 2:30 am. She shrugged her shoulders, as she put her phone in her purse. She got to the front door. It creaked as she opened it, she winced as she looked over at him. He moved slightly. She sighed in relief as he didn't get up. She opened the door the rest of the way and walked out.
The night air hit her in a rush. She had no idea where she was gonna go. She never got her license yet. She really had no one to teach her how to drive. Now, she wished that she learned how to drive. She got to edge of the sidewalk. She winced as she heard the door open. "Where the hell are you going? You can't leave!" He yelled, his speech was slurred. Anger boiled in her as she whirled around. "I'm leaving you and your no good for nothing drunk ass. That is what I'm doing. I don't why you would even care. You don't love me, you never really did. If you really loved me, you wouldn't hurt me like you do. Also you would have tried to hurt our baby. What kind of a man does that? A sad sick pathetic excuse of a man. " She said, as he got angry. He walked to toward her. He had that look on his face again. She regretted saying that, only cause he would make her pay. He grabbed her bag off of her shoulder, she caught herself somehow.
His grabbed her bag with one hand and with his other hand he grabbed her. "You know what fine, leave. I don't really care. You are no good any ways." He said, as tears came to her face. He tossed her bag into the street. "You are right, I never really loved you. I thought, I did. It wasn't love, just lust. You were nothing but a nice piece of ass. That's all you ever were, I saw a target. You were so easy you know that. You believed me, how dumb can you be?" He said, as he let her go. She swiped at her tears, as they fell down her face. She lifted her head, she began to walk toward her bag that was laying in the street. All of a sudden she felt herself being push forward. She yelped as she was falling forward. She managed to be her hands out in front of her. Her heart raced, she didn't want to land on her stomach. She could see headlights getting closer. "Leave you whore" He said, as she began to fall.
Joe was driving down the street. It was late at night. He was studying at a friend's hours. He had a test in the morning. Now he was heading back to his apartment. He squinted as he saw something on the road ahead of him, he slowed his car a bit. Then all off a sudden, he seen a person being pushed onto the street. His eyes, went wide. The person, looked like a woman. But he couldn't see too good. The street was not lite up that well. He saw another person walk, toward the woman. He thought that he was gonna help her. He stopped his car 20 feet from the person. Demi's heart was racing. She caught herself and landed on her hands and knees. She could feel her hands and knees burning. The car had stopped, she was glad. Then she heard Wilmer behind her. He grabbed her bag off the ground. Then he turned to pick her up, she yelped in pain. She could hear the car door open. Relief washed over like a tidal wave.
